There are 2 story lines if either QB wins. If Brady wins he'll have 4 and considering everyone considers Montana the GOAT Brady will have him tied along with having the stats and responsibility that people expect of all-time great QB's. The conversation for his place will be good. If Eli wins the consversation of who is the better Manning will be brought up.

I'd rather hear the Brady talk, and considering I've picked against the Giants all playoff I'll keep up with that plan....Giants fans should be happy. However, it will be interesting to see what Eli and company will do to that weak Pats pass defense. The Pats pass defense basically pushed back the Flacco hate, so given how weak their pass defense is after the SB Eli Manning may be in GOAT status. So, I want New England to win, but I think the Giants will win.

And the sports media shall finally achieve full retard.

IIRC, the Ravens are the first team with a winning record that the Patriots have beaten all year. The Giants beat one team with a winning record during the regular season...and that was the Patriots.

I think the Giants have better players and they've gotten some of their injured players back at the end of the year, but during the regular season they allowed more points than they scored.

The Patriots defense is completely inept.

I don't have any rooting interest either for or against either team. I like the 49ers, I hate Ray Lewis and John Harbaugh, but I don't really have strong feelings regarding the Giants and Pats. And neither team is really an "underdog", because, as I said before, neither team is really all that good.

So...no rooting interest, no overwhelming talent on display, no underdog to cheer for, no interesting story angle. It might as well be a Week 5 matchup between the Titans and Jags.

No, because those discussions are pointless. Brady and Belichick are already in the GOAT discussions. A win or a loss on Sunday isn't going to change anything. And even if the Giants win 73-0, no one with a brain would claim Eli is better than Peyton. I think a more interesting discussion would be "Do Bears fans now rank Eli Manning above Jay Cutler?"

I could see Eli having a field day against the Patriots secondary. Who is Edelman going to cover? Whether it is Nicks, Manningham or Cruz, that is a HUGE mismatch lol. and Eli will be able to exploit that much more so than joe flacco did.
