No, because those discussions are pointless. Brady and Belichick are already in the GOAT discussions. A win or a loss on Sunday isn't going to change anything. And even if the Giants win 73-0, no one with a brain would claim Eli is better than Peyton. I think a more interesting discussion would be "Do Bears fans now rank Eli Manning above Jay Cutler?"

Then you should probably want the Patriots to win, because ESPN is has already started the discussion.

LOL this game isnt even remotely a pickem. This is clearly the weakest Patriots team to ever make it to a Super Bowl. They are so incredibly one dimensional, and Got lucky not having to play one extra game in the playoffs or i am sure they wouldnt be here now.

The Giants have better playmaking receivers this time around and i think the Giants will win by more than 3 this time.

Obviously Belichick isn't foolish, but I don't think he has a lot of slot options. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Edelman on Cruz at points during the game, but I wouldn't expect them to rely on Edelman. He has been serviceable though.

The 85 team was probably weaker. The 2001 team was very pedestrian on offence but were a strong defensive team...not strong like the current NE offence is strong.

Didn't throw, but rushed. Didn't have a bad game either despite the 2 INT's, one of them was a very great play by Webb to keep his balance and make the grab. So what's your point here? He still lead a drive to score, his rush, when needed.

What Patriot haters ignore is that Evans didn't drop the ball, Sterling Moore stripped it out. Fact is, the NE player made a play here but is given no credit by the haters. It was a catch without Moore's hand getting involved.

I am of course saying this is the weakest of the Brady era Patriots, I dont care about the 84/85 team LOL. And no, I did not predict any Denver win, so i never said they would lose all along. I said at beginning of playoffs,they wont win the SB. That aint no random guess, that means I expect them to be a good team as theyve been but not as good as you want to think. I respect what theyve done, but i still say they lose this game.

And neither team is really an "underdog", because, as I said before, neither team is really all that good.

So...no rooting interest, no overwhelming talent on display, no underdog to cheer for, no interesting story angle. It might as well be a Week 5 matchup between the Titans and Jags.

2001 Patriots were already listed and they were playing the mighty fucking Rams who were 14 point favourites. That team was Brady Era and is not as good as this team. Brady himself wasn't half the QB he is now in that season.

There are EIGHT players on the New England roster from 2007 Super Bowl. This isn't the same team nor do they play the same game on offence. The comparison of saying X player can't handle X team is stupid and Brady put up 350 and 2 TD's in their game earlier so he can certainly move the ball against them. Giants won by 4, yet won the turnover battle by 3. So protect the ball and I think we can handle them.

most everyone is betting the Giants to cover or beat the spread and at the end of these 2 weeks,either the Giants will be favored by 3 or more or the Pats will be favored by more. Revenge for 18-1 and most infamous SB loss of this era.
The much maligned always on the hot seat former Parcells guy Coughlin being 2-0 against the OTHER Parcells guy always dubbed the genius and praised as the prodigal one.

I think this is the most interesting matchup going into it since well...2007.

Anyway, I interpret the opening line as Vegas BEGGING you to bet Patriots, because #1 they are the more public team, and #2, the three point line looks cheap on the surface to Joe Schmoe Bettor Guy.

I suspect the late money will come in on the Giants. There is no way it will swing back 6 points or whatever to Giants -3, but it will probably go off at Pats -1 or something.

It's a pick'em game.
