IIRC, the Ravens are the first team with a winning record that the Patriots have beaten all year. The Giants beat one team with a winning record during the regular season...and that was the Patriots.

I think the Giants have better players and they've gotten some of their injured players back at the end of the year, but during the regular season they allowed more points than they scored.

The Patriots defense is completely inept.

Who cares what the Giants did during the regular season? The playoffs are a new season and the Giants have knocked off the best teams in the NFC.

New England's defense is bad, but they have played better in the playoffs, and their offense is superb so it makes up for what they lack in D.

This rematch will be as exciting as LSU-Bama II.

The Giants have found their stride at the end of the year, but they went 9-7 and allowed more points than they scored. Think about that. And the Patriots have some good key players, and are well-coached, but they have huge deficiencies on defense. They aren't a "great" team.

This isn't a clash of the titans matchup like SBXIII with the Steelers-Cowboys or SB XIX with the Niners-Dolphins. Thats all I'm saying.

Thats not what I said, but oh well. Sometimes people will watch a sporting event just for the sheer talent on display. I'm not a track and field fan, but I was watching Usain Bolt just because of his awesomeness. If I have no rooting interest in the Super Bowl, usually I'll still watch just to see the dominance of one team/unit. For instance, the Giants-Ravens Super Bowl was a total bust, but at least the Ravens defense was historically good. You don't have any of that for this Super Bowl.
