Listen after surviving that Niner defense, which IMO is the best defense in the NFL, playing against the Patriots will be a party......will be a good game though, all of their matchups have been close and came down to the wire

It's kinda funny, the people who hate this matchup the most are the salty ass NFC & AFC East fans who's teams are home watching, one Titan fan and the people who just hate Eli Manning for whatever reason

You and others keep going back to me saying "neither team is really all that good". The Giants have found their stride at the end of the year, but they went 9-7 and allowed more points than they scored. Think about that. And the Patriots have some good key players, and are well-coached, but they have huge deficiencies on defense. They aren't a "great" team.

This isn't a clash of the titans matchup like SBXIII with the Steelers-Cowboys or SB XIX with the Niners-Dolphins. Thats all I'm saying.

The teams are too different personnel-wise and the time elapsed has been too long for me to really consider it a "revenge" game. It would be nice for the Pats to beat the Giants, but thats like saying the 1982 Redskins got revenge on the 1972 Dolphins in SB XVII.

Interesting, but Belichick has been considered superior to Coughlin for so long I don't think a Coughlin win will change that line of thought. When Jim Plunkett won his 2nd SB with the Raiders, no one thought "well, our QB problems are solved".
 
After NYJ beat NE last year I told myself NE would win it all this season. It really looks that way that imo. Of course I want NYG to win but it seems inevitable that NE wins. I had the same feeling about Cam and Auburn winning it all.
