They've asked for community help and suggestions on games FOR YEARS...damn near a decade now.
I see no dramatic change to the game, outside of graphics, over that same time period. As a matter of fact, they actually take stuff out.
I lol'd when they said adembroski worked on the draft element of the game for a more realistic experience only to have a punter be taken with the #2 pick in most drafts lol. Awesome stuff.
Again, I just don't see the point of EA actually bringing in these community guys. A) They don't actually make a difference and B) They are much more beneficial when they aren't on the payroll, shilling for these random internet websites. Sliz has been reviewing games for years...surely he's gotten a rep and people actually "trust" his reviews. Basically, he sells more games shilling than he does there working on code.
Maybe they give them jobs to keep the shilling going. Maybe sooner or later the shill sites would have caught on they were shilling for no reason, but offering these kids jobs actually keeps up the veil of that there is a reason to shill. I dunno, all I do know is that year-to-year these games don't change.
