Brees can make every throw, and is the most accurate qb in the league if not top 3. He controls his offense. Hes a surgeon on the field as he carves up defenses with precision. His ball placement is tremendous and gets the ball out quickly. Rivers on the other hand is accurate as well. Hes not more accurate than brees as alot of his balls are high. His ball placement isnt always great. He throws alot of jump balls and high balls to his tall wideouts. That can only be seen by watching games. He is more clutch than brees...i give him that. How many games have you watch brees play in comparison to rivers?

Dude, Romo's a good QB, but not elite. He's only been starting for what, 3 years? so I would say he still has the potential to become elite.....

But....He fades at the end of seasons and (so far) can't win clutch games. He's still young in regards to years of starting, so there is still potential for Romo. But he is not in the Elite convo yet.

I only say Elite because I have "HOF Level" as a class above. I couple that with that lack of truly great arms in the league.

But that said all the guys I mentioned can be hinged on to win games , you can build an offense or a franchise around them.

Others like Cutler are on the cups others like Palmer have dropped. They cant be counted on to win games the way these others can on a (relatively) consistent basis.

I can respect your reasoning for this . Like I said im not calling Brees a bad qb , questionable in the clutch ? Sure . Bad ? No . I just think Rivers is in the top 5 and Brees isint , if not Rivers is damn close by now . I see a leader in Rivers that I dont in Drew , its almost like an extra quality that cant be measured . Im sure Brees can make more throws but like I said in my book Rivers is a winner . I may be the only person who thinks this ... I dont know . After seeing him knock out my Colts twice in the playoffs (one where he had a fucked up knee) then seeing him take over the Chargers last season I couldnt help but be impressed with him .

Wanted to address this real quick. The Steelers were the # 1 defense. They played each of the other top 4. They also played 8 of the other 11 top defenses in the league. I don't think the Saints played 8 games against people rated below 20. I don't think they played more than 5 games against defenses in the top 20.
