i need to replay the last vice case. got a 1* and was demoted to arson....what. i failed to interrogate the guy with the doc. oh well will try again tomorrow.
 
The new patch is for everyone to be able to DL the other DLC cases.

If I had to guess, it'd be the one for those two cases you could only get through PSN (Consul's Car Case and The Naked City).

Might be for all the DLC cases and DLC suits as well. :ionno:

Before you roam the corrupted and crime-infested streets of 1940′s Los Angeles in L.A. Noire this weekend, Rockstar has an automatic title update (version 1.00) for you to download across both Xbox 360 and PS3. The patch should come through automatically once you’re signed into the PSN or Xbox Live, and Rockstar says it fixes several bugs and graphical issues.

The fixes involve utilizing an age verification process before purchasing in-game DLC, “minor gameplay bugs and graphical issues,” as well as improved stat tracking and Social Club integration.

Most interesting in Rockstar’s patch notes is this: “Fixes for several minor plot/objective/conversation issues.” In our playthrough we haven’t experienced anything notably broken during questioning and conversation, nor have any objectives failed to get triggered, but clearly the issues are there and Rockstar is quickly addressing them.

We do know that L.A. Noire was causing freezing and overheating issues on both consoles, while some users on Rockstar’s official site are complaining about being unable to properly load save game data.

It seems like the perfect weekend update for patching, as Mortal Kombat gets a few stealth fixes today, as well.




Maybe that loading saved date problem is what I had, hopefully they have a patch for it soon if so, then I won't have to go all the way though again

Apparently this game, as many open world games do, really taxes the system. Couple that with the fact that the 360 is aging and apparently the game was rumored to be on SIX DISCS and compressed to three...well, you can see why some people are having issues.
 
Yea I probably haven't noticed it before because only games I've played in recent years are sports games and COD. Hopefully I won't have any problems with Alan Wake

And 93 of the 95 cars unlocked.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THOSE OTHER TWO CARS?!?!?!?!!?!?

I used a walkthrough to find all the reels. For anyone that plans to do it without, plan to give up on that real soon. They are ridiculously hidden.
 
that is what I heard. I had a cute girl with big boobies ringing me up at Gamestop when I went and she was raving on and on about Alan Wake. Should've invited her over and tell her we'll play Alan Wake, but we'll do other kind of playing :smug:

Hidden Bonus Vehicles
Note that this list is not in the order these cars appear in the game, but it is in the best order to go back and get them after you have unlocked them all (any time after you have reached level 15). It also follows the map below, so the directions assume you have already made your way to the marker on the map.

Cord 810 Softtop - There is a two story building close to your location on Mateo Street. Behind it is a ramp leading down to a basement level, and the car is in a garage accessed through a door at the bottom of this ramp.
Stout Scarab - This car is in a garage with a tin roof behind a tall, gray building - it's the tallest building in this area, so it should be easy to spot.
Phantom Corsair - There is an Alaco station on the corner here, and the car is inside the station.
Talbot GS26 - Another corner, another Alaco station, another hidden car inside.
Delage D8 120 - Find Meisner's Hardware Store and make your way to the alley behind it, and you'll find this one hidden in a garage there.
Chrysler Woody - Start at the intersection of 7th and Vermont and head west down a long alley - the car is in a garage next to a house.
Cisilalia Coupe - You guessed it - another Alaco station.
Delage D8 120 S Poutout Aero-Co - You'll see a large gray and white mansion here, and the car is hidden in a small, similarly-colored building next to it.
Ford H Boy - Yep - it's inside an Alaco station.
Tucker Torpedo - Start at the corner of Western Ave. and Oakwood Ave., where you'll see two buildings with a brick garage between them. To get to the door, you'll need to head around to the parking lot behind the buildings.
Davis Deluxe - In a small gray residential garage with a wooden fence and a bunch of trees around it.
Cadillac Town Car - Apparently, before the big oil executives got into gouging consumers with gas prices, they liked to hoard rare cars in hidden garages, because there's another one here inside an Alaco station.
Duesenberg Walker Coupe - When you get to this spot, you'll see the Auto Club of Southern California, which is a large building with an orange roof - this car (which also happens to be the fastest car in the game) is in a garage behind it.
Delahaye 135MS Cabriolet - Across from a shopping area is a house with a sloped driveway lined with trees. Inside the garage of the house, you'll find your next car.
Voisin C7 - You should have already unlocked this car in the street crime case Paper Sack Holdup, but if you haven't, it's the last of the cars found inside an Alaco station.

I'm replaying all the cases now to 5star them on my PS3 version.. They are just as fun the second time. Wish I could have
 
fired the warning shot to stop the guy instead of killing him in the hit and run case.
I may have to try that one again too.

24 hours game time. Spent about 5 hours searching for the cars. Finished the story with 60 miles driven, finished with around 180.
 
Really the only game that can compete for GOTY so far this year is Dead Space 2. Right now I'd lean towards that but I am not even 50% through this game so things can change.
