Franchise presentation has gotten a nice upgrade.....was hoping for highlights from around the league, but I'm digging the direction of the presentation

we know that but with online franchise added why would anyone do an offline franchise?!?!?

Because it's a deeper, more robust experience. In the future, we'll have all the same features in both, but for now, not everything in online is in offline.

not being able to import draft classes online is a huge deal, who are you kidding? this means that with 32 guys playing online you only get cpu generated rookies... in ps 2 after about 3 years all the rookies started to suck, you gonna tell me they fixed that in this version?

Yes, they did. The draft classes aren't computer generated, they're hand made.

Ya man it sucks but now we have a working franchise mode and online franchise. Also it is similar to recruiting in NCAA those guys are all computer generated and it work its gonna be the same way online for Madden. And the CPU generated classes have been fixed so ya, it could be better, but its not a gamekiller.

I'm too geeked up over having franchise online to even care that we can't import...as long as we have a working draft, progression, trading, FA signings, I'm good

I guess I will have to do it by myself against the cpu.

But I'm wondering if you can start your franchise offline and then convert it online....or will you have to decide beforehand if you want to do it offline or online

It looks like they had Hasselbeck's throwing motion down pretty good. Nice.

It didn't look like an indicator showed up when the guy "clicked on" to the DB while the pass was in the air? I wonder why that was?

That Wildcat video gave me a tingly feeling. Good news for the guys that think it'll get "abused" looks like nothing more then a HB Draw. But nonetheless I'm fucking amped.

Cortland Finnegan and Michael Griffin are looking forward to the "Ronnie and Pat Show" trying to make it into the secondary.:shakehands:

No, they're not the same franchise. The Online Franchise is sort of the foundation of the future's franchise, offline franchise is a bunch of fixes to the old franchise mode.

This is really a transitional year, and it really shows outside of gameplay.

It's not THAT detailed. He'll have a low short accuracy rating, but it doesn't track that he tends to throw dirt balls.

Shouldn't be hard. Don't forget Williams will be out there. Hell, they might even let Ginn take snaps in the Wildcat. Opposing teams are fucked.

Definitely won't be as hard without Haynesworth in there, but you still gotta go through Kearse and VandenBosch to get to Bulluck and Thornton and then to Finnegan, Hope, Harper, and Griffin.

Either way, I'm still looking forward to it.

Wildcat with DHB and DMC over anything you got.

I'll try out the Wildcat in practice mode a lot when i get the game but I am not sure if I'll use the Dolphins offensive book as my permanent playbook. The Raiders ran it a little last year but i don't think they'll put it in the Raiders playbook.

DMac is way better in Madden in terms of running the Wildcat. He can throw and is a lot faster than Brown.
