I'm about to beat the game for the 3rd time, and it never gets old.

I guarantee he's not KIA, just missing. The Normandy is at Ilos, you're stuck on the Citadel after killing Saren and all personnel were evacuated.

Plus, my Shepard is a complete fucking badass ninja. If he's dead, I'll be pissed.

This is the best game I've ever played. Great story, great controls, great characters...the Wrex/Tali combo owns you.

I played both KOTOR 1 & 2 and its not assumed that we'll be the same character for Mass Effect 2 though, they have said you'll be able to upload your character from the first 1, decisions you made in your game effect how the world is in Mass Effect 2.

you can easily beat the game in less than 2 weeks, if you want to do most of the side stories

i never got to do 2 of them though, because i couldnt return to the home planet

Bioware(ppl who made Mass Effect) are making an RPG set in mid-evil times called Dragon Age: Orgins. Game looks like LOTR on steriods.
