[ALL] Mass Effect 3

You guys know about Mass Effect 3, right? EA really wants you to know that Mass Effect 3 exists. Like, so bad. The publisher's fervor for raising awareness about ME3 is so great that it's strapping six copies of the game to six high-altitude weather balloons spread across the globe, and launching them into the literal stratosphere, which is effectively space when spoken in the same sentence as "balloons" and "video games."

Paris, London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas will all play host to one of these advertising airships, which are set to launch next week. Eventually though, these puppies are coming back down.

Each copy of the game is equipped with a GPS tracking device, and crazy people will be able to monitor the games' positions on the official Mass Effect website. Once they land, whoever scrambles to a crash site first will get to keep the copy and play the game a week early, assuming the damn thing is still somehow intact. Here's hoping that the balloons are just as involved in the descent as they are in the flight, but just to be safe we're going to calculate the terminal velocity of a 360 case and call our insurance company.

Well that wasn't the only thing. I did choose her the first time I played through on the 360. I just liked Tali a lot more. Plus I want to see her face :shifty:


I played the demo again on insanity and these mfers throw too many grenades. All of my squadmates and I only died from their grenade spam.

Definitely, at least regarding Arrival. It doesn't make a lot of sense otherwise.

For Shadow Broker I don't think you can even do it until after a certain point.

I got it available to me now, just got Tali and am heading to Illium to get Thane + the justicar. Lot's to do.

Right, I know you can have the quest activated, but I don't think you can start it until AFTER you get to Illium, meet Liara and do her quest (not sure about the last part -- but it would make sense).

I used Garrus a lot mainly because I think he is a badass. Miranda was another because having both warp and overload made her very useful but she was always so bitchy.

There are so many squadmates in ME2 that I had a tough time choosing my mains. I don't think I had a regular crew. Jacob was NEVER in it though. Only if it was required :smh:

I'm in the process of doing everyone's loyalty missions. Gotta get Paragon points saved up so I can settle the inevitable Miranda/Jack argument before I do either of theirs though.

Just beat ME1. That last fight against Saren was a real pain in the dick. I was sporting some major wood during that final cutscene. My 2nd playthrough of ME2 should be quite different now that all these choices will be uploaded. Can't wait to start that shit up again tomorrow.

EDIT: Are any of these DLCs worth purchasing in ME2?

I'd say all of them are worth it. Overlord and Shadow Broker are the best, though.
