I enjoyed Cortez's conversations. It was Kaiden that bothered me he came off as creepy majority of the time he was trying to hit on shepard. Makes me wish I would have just offed him the first go round.

I saved Kaidan in my renegade playthrough, so I get to treat him like shit.

Other than Mars, Kaiden stayed his ass on the ship for me...

 

As an experiment, I let him back on the crew to see how many crew members the game would let me have at one time.

Counting Javik, I got Garrus, EDI, Liara, Kaiden, Tali, and James.

Kaiden pretty much professed that he knew nobody liked him for being a whiny bitch... meanwhile, I worried the MFer had PTSD after getting face-fucked via Cyborg Fist.

Had I told him to work at C-Sec, he would have died in ACT III.

Maybe ACT II if I didn't talk him down...

...he's staying with the bomb forever from now on because he's a walking ghost for all intensive purposes.

Probably only a full match or two. You need to get over 5000 EMS.

Start Private MP matches with the enemies and locations set to 'Random.'

It boosts the Galaxy At War % for all systems a LOT faster and gives you bonus XP at the end of the match.

After that swap the match to Public so you can scoop up randoms to help you.

Also, never play on Silver until you're Level 10-15 with a character you're comfortable with; it makes things easier when you're boosting.

Finally, nobody wants to use mics but if you got one, use it; communication of enemy location and types will let your squad know who to shoot and when to haul ass.

I'm sooooo glad that both Spectre packs that I bought tonight contained Drell Vanguards.

At least my Vanguards got 200k free XP, but I was really hoping for more weapons and weapon mods.

Speaking of weapons: the Graal can be an amazing shotgun, but the reticle seems to be off. The majority of the flechettes always end up on the right side of the circle rather than averaging in the center as I would expect. Also, the muzzle velocity is a bit slower, and you have to lead moving targets more than other guns. However, when fully charged, a single shot can take out most non-shielded foes even at range. Overall, a really nice gun if you have the patience for it.

Seriously, just quick match on Bronze and go through two full MP games. Should be fine then.

Just hop out of MP into SP and check your EMS until you're good.

Just pulled an all nighter to finish the game and now ehading off to work.

 

Fuck that ending they gave us. I really don't mind everything that actually happened, but god damn, you have no idea what the fuck happened to anyone or anything afterwards. It was just a BOOM, bbtw you're done with the game. Even the post credits scene could have tooken place 1000s of eyars later for all we know. Such bullshit.

I am just about to finish the game (even though I have pretty much no desire to given the universal displeasure of the ending). Overall the plot felt really messy and patched together throughout, and just overall really weak for such a strongly story-driven game.

Gameplay was as great as ME2, but overall the character development was nowhere near as compelling to me as the first two.

 

The constant 100% coincidence "where are they now" reunions didn't do it for me, especially since they were essentially the only side missions in the game.

Overall I am more than a little surprised the reviews scores were as universally high as they were.

Operation Goliath
Citadel Allied Command is mounting a galaxy-wide operation to cripple the Reapers’ shock troops: the turian-krogan hybrids known as “brutes.” To flush out Reaper ground forces, N7 teams are deploying to engage the enemy in key theaters. Heavy reinforcements are expected anywhere fighting begins.

Community Goal: Inflict heavy casualties on Reaper “brutes” on March 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Community Unlock: If this goal is met, all N7 squads will be awarded a Victory Pack that can be unlocked the following week.

Squad Goal: Successful extraction from a Reaper-held zone at a Silver threat level or higher.

Squad Unlock: Your squad will be granted a Commendation Pack.

Your allies are counting on you. Now is not the time to let them down.

Any player who is part of a squad that beats the Reaper faction on Silver difficulty or better will unlock one Commendation Pack. This means that at least one member of the squad must be extracted at the end of the mission – this will earn all squad members the reward. Each player can earn a maximum of one pack, and each pack contains a random N7 Arsenal Weapon. Originally only available as single-player weapons via the N7 Collector’s Edition, these multiplayer variants will be exceptionally rare and are NOT obtainable through regular purchasable Reinforcement Packs. The Commendation Packs will contain one of the following guns at random: N7 Crusader Shotgun, N7 Eagle Pistol, N7 Hurricane SMG, and N7 Valiant Sniper Rifle.

Destroy as many brutes as possible – if the multiplayer community kills a combined 1 MILLION brutes within the hours of the challenge, ALL players will receive a Victory Pack as a reward.

There's got to be a solid reason as to why they're jipping PS3 players other than "tech constraints."

If it's to get money out of us through DLC (which they do anyway with the higher tier packs like Spectre and that Equipment pack that costs a buck if you're too lazy to grind), I get that.

To just not do it feels... wrong... in some way to me.

Used my day of work to put some hours in this and get it finished. Yeah, the ending was more than just a bit disappointing, all things considered. But the explanation was a kinda cool way to pull it all together.

I'm not dealing with the game finally being over very well.... I don't want it to be over. This was the perfect trilogy of games I've ever played. I've never been so emotionally attached to a game. I feel like such a fucking nerd.
