I think I was close to breaking 4000 with my first playthrough.

I did everything but the Eden Prime intel and the Fossil... the stuff on the Citadel where you pick sides in arguments ended up screwing me out of some points.

After I boost all the way up to 100% on G.A.W., I'll never worry again.

But how do you do that? Playing online? The "horde" modes that have come on recently do not interest me in the slightest, and unless it is only a few games of multiplayer I'm probably not doing it.

You can get the "best" ending with like 3000 something, which really isn't hard to do if you do all of the side quests. 4000 or so gets you the achievement for having everyone ready or whatever it is called.

I think that it might be a little harder to pull off as a full on renegade because some people will be dead that will fuck up alliances, but I haven't finished my renegade playthrough yet so I can't say for sure.

And the multiplayer is actually pretty fun if you like the combat in ME2/3. It gets a little old somewhat quickly because of the lack of maps. But just so you know, you can beat an 11 wave session in a specific system and get 7% added, or you can set it to be an unknown system and then you get 3% for all the systems.

Me too, good way to waste an hour.

I've been switching between all the classes and im liking my vanguard class. Biotic charge at a group of enemies, then wreck shop with my Katana shotgun. I promoted my level 20 turian sentinel before i finished the game cause it was just enough to get my galactic readiness over 5000.

I don't think that should be a problem. There was only one major race that I wasn't able to recruit for the final battle on my initial playthrough, and that may have been avoided if I had gone through the side missions and built up my Renegade status to the max.

My two main gripes with the ending I got (Shepard kills the Reapers and dies):

1)Why the fuck was that choice the Renegade option? First of all, you spend the better part of 3 games screaming "KILL THE REAPERS" and a conversation with a little kid makes you want to change your mind? I didn't have a problem sacrificing myself for the good of the galaxy, it's what my Shepard would do...but instead of making all these awesome races be better off, we've set the galaxy back 50,000 years.

No mass relays, no interstellar travel. Everyone is stuck where they are. Meaning, Wrex is on Earth, the Primarch is on Earth, Asari, Turians...everyone. So Earth is doomed, basically.

2) The part where they crash land on the planet was gay. How did Garrus and Liara get on the Normandy, when apparently everyone from the rush to the beam was killed? How did Joker make a relay jump? EDI should be dead, since I nuked all synthetic life, but who knows?

All in all, it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. I'm OK with dying. I don't like the choices they gave at the end, though. My Shepard, 100% paragon (except for the occasional right trigger pull...Kai Leng and Illusive Man) would never choose to control them.

As for the coda that everyone seems confused about...it's in the far, far future, when humans have forgotten what interstellar travel was like. They don't know about other stars, other planets...any of that. The kid and his grandfather are telling stories about Shepard like we would tell about Cavemen or Vikings. We know they happened, but all we have are stories. No issues...I thought that was OK.

That would have been incredibly annoying to me. Any and all inconsistencies kill immersion.

Dumb luck. Drell Vanguard won't pop up in the Recruit Pack, though.

At the end when they show the Normandy crashing, I only got a quick scene of the door starting to open up. That's it. Nobody came out. Does this have to do with the war assets? My readiness was only 50%, I did all the N7 missions, whatever side missions I could find without using a guide, and didn't play one second of multiplayer.

Really? Any specific reason it won't pop for a Drell? I got a Salarian Engineer and a Quarian Infiltrator from the recruit packs. Are they considered less "rare" than the Drell and Asari? Because I haven't gotten either of those in any of the fucking packs I bought (although I've only bought two Spectre packs because it takes too long to get to and I lose my patience).

I think so. I got the Asari Vanguard in the Veteran Pack. Pretty sure Drell is the same.

Might have been a glitched scene.

Joker is supposed to pop out with you two teammates and EDI depending on what choice you made at the end.

The assets and readiness only affect how well your army does in a few cutscenes and how fucked up Earth looks like.

Drell Vanguard is a gold card FWIW. No idea how rare that is, but out of three Spectre Packs that I've bought, two had Drell Vanguard cards.

The same thing happened to me, but I barely did anything outside of the primary missions. It seems like a glitch based on how many people say they've seen their squadmates hop out.

EDIT: We also started in on Silver-tier matches tonight.

Pad and I did decent with pubs we got (I was carried... a LOT at times when I wasn't a Sentinel) and we both got a taste for pain.

Fucking Banshees and Geth Hunters stopped some runs but other than that, we've boosted quite well with the extra XP and creds we got.

Random enemies/locations + Silver = FUN.
