This recent win streak of mine had me thinking, since I can't fin perfect sliders, what if I just played as both team's offenses.
Meaning, the top first I play as the away team, bottom home team and rotate, and I would make pitching changes when appropriate for both teams, as well as pinch hitters/ runners etc.

DENVER, CO (AP) -- Tommy John Surgery is always hard to take when your a major league pitcher but Jeff Francis' case was a special one.

Starting 2008 0-8 with a 8.67 ERA, Francis was on the brink of being sent down to the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate Colorado Springs in favor of some younger pitching. Everyone and their neighbour was asking for Francis' head in Denver, where the defending NL finalists had been massively underperforming after making it to the World Series a year earlier.

Francis knew he had to 'turn on the jets' and he did just that, going 4-2 with an astounding 1.75 ERA in his next 8 starts. The Rockies were winning again and it was all thanks to the kid from Burnaby, Canada.

"I knew after my start I needed to start performing like I knew I could, I guess it worked out." Francis smiled when remembering his performance.

Then the unthinkable happened.

Late in the 7th inning of a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Francis threw a pitch that went into the Dodgers' dugout while he collapsed onto the mound in pain. Two weeks later he was on the operating table getting the surgery that would change his career.

This year with Colorado Springs, Francis went 13-1 with a 2.05 ERA while keeping the otherwise weak team in contention. Now, he gets a shot at helping the major league team that forgot about him out again, through it seems the Dodgers have a seemingly insurmountable lead. What will Francis do?
