At least it is from Matt's end. I can't go into details but I will say the whole thing started around a inappropriate comment made by a member of Rampage's entourage toward Matt's wife at an Affliction industry party in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.

Matt's wife is Asian American, and we all know how much Rampage loves Asian women so use your imagination to fill in the blanks, and you'll be close.

I wasn't there, so I don't know for sure, but my understanding is that there was an insufficient apology by the entourage member when someone informed him that it was Matt's wife, and no apology at all from Rampage at the time or since.

A story by Mike Chiapetta put numbers on the UFC injury rate so far this year. In all, 27% of announced matches have been changed due to injury and 31% of announced main events have been changed. The two hardest hit were UFC 142, which had eight injury-related changes, and UFC 149, which had nine. In all, there were 72 injuries that required a replacement fighter on 21 shows, or 3.4 per show. Two years ago the average was 2 per show.

Jared Wyatt of Crescent City, CA, made national headlines, as he was given a 50-years-to-life sentence for first degree murder of training partner Taylor Powell on March 21, 2010. He won’t be eligible for parole until 2062 after pleading guilty of ripping out the 21-year-old Powell’s heart and pulling his tongue out. Wyatt agreed to the sentence with fear that in a trial, which was scheduled for this week, he’d be given no chance at parole. Police first found Wyatt, who was on hallucinogenic drugs, naked and covered in blood and admitting killing Powell, cutting out his heart and his tongue. Police then found Powell in his same house, with his chest cut open, with no heart, tongue or skin on his face. His heart was later found charred up in a stove. The autopsy determined that Powell was still alive when his heart and tongue were removed. Witnesses said the two had ingested mushrooms when they started fighting. Wyatt had two listed fights, one in 2009 and one in 2010, winning both.

Kurt Angle on King Mo's transition into pro wrestling..

He's actually called me probably every other week asking me when will the soreness go away.

Angle also said he agreed with Dana White to be a fighter on TUF 10 (WTF) but pulled out because they wanted him ready in under a month and he wanted 3-6 months to prepare.

Just assuming he's telling the truth....how fucking insane would that have been if the plan was for Kimbo Slice & Kurt Angle to be among the fighters.

They're looking for fighters from 155-170 with at least 3 wins.

LOL at this being one of the requirements:

You must not be a candidate for public office and must agree not to become one until at least one (1) year after the initial broadcast of the final episode of the Program in which you appear, if selected as a contestant.

Seems like the reward for whatever the format is will be $100,000.

I don't know if I buy that. Dana doesn't seem like the type that would allow someone in TUF, despite name recognition, without at least a year or so of MMA training and a couple fights. He really has nothing to lose from a business standpoint from allowing guys like Brock, Kimbo, or hypothetically Angle. If they come in and get their ass beat, then he can say "This is pro wrestling/backyard fighting, these guys are out-classed." If they win, then they're an already known name with ability to both compete AND sell fights.

Angle has said some pretty silly shit the past few years, so I doubt it happened. But it's hard to ever know with both Angle and Dana involved. I'm inclined to call BS though.
