I can't see the UFC deciding to bring in guys like Aoki, Hansen, Calvacante, etc. They make a lot of money in Japan. Not just from the promotions, but from sponsors. So you can't expect the fighters to take a pay cut to jump, not unless there's no other option. And its not really a great business move for the UFC to pay these guys huge money when they are relatively unknown to the average fight fan. They definitely are amongst the best in the world, but the names don't carry any value except to hardcore fans. Its a bad risk in a business sense.

look at the WEC (UFC owned), they are really brining in some good talent at the 145 and 135 weight classes
UFC will never pay top LWs, the average american UFC fan doesnt like 'little guys' and the UFC has never marketted the LW class well
