Thats the point I am trying to make. I (and millions like me) will go out to a bar, spend 15 bucks a piece, get some wings, beers, and get to watch the fights. 15 bucks isn't even half of the cost of the PPV alone.
Affliction should be working to get bars to carry their shit. If a place advertises a big MMA event with $2 beers like they do for UFC, they will get people in. They just need to make the marketing moves. UFC aligned with Bud Light, they worked to make it so their PPVs (even their low end ones) were carried in bars. Affliction is wanting to ride the coattails and quite frankly, if someone never sees an Affliction event, it isn't because they are clowns or ignorant, it is because of the poor marketing of Affliction.
Let me ask you, how many commercials have you seen for the Affliction PPV? Now, how many did you see for UFC 100 or any UFC event for that matter?
