Neither team was very impressive imo. Hopefully Michigan State struggles for a few more games so Wisconsin can get a chance at another Big 10 title. Illinois' remaining schedule is brutal, I expect them to suck it up.

Lol Dickie V was butthurt when MSU lost....he was freakin out about someone getting hurt and the fact Kailin Lucas, the All-American, didnt play today. Didnt say one good thing about Illinois win.

LOL, it wasn't that impressive of a win, but it's still a signature win for Illinois this year. They haven't done shit all year.

I thought the best part was when he said, it was a great Big 10 game, and that both teams were playing great defense.

I can't tell if Demitri McCamey is a very good player in general or a good player on a "meh" Illinois team.

McCamey is a solid player but he needs to be more consistent. He's a big, strong dude that is solid off the dribble and is a good shooter but he can disappear at times.

When I saw him play against UGA earlier this year he didn't do a whole lot - and guess what? His team lost. If he had been more assertive over the course of the game and not deferred to Tisdale or the freshmen guards (DJ Richardson, Brandon Paul), Illinois probably would've won that game.

Vandy's a good squad too, no paper tigers there.

I know Uga doesnt get in the tourney at large. I kinda wish they would go on a tear and win the sec tourney. Thompkins and Leslie are enough to win a first round game anyway. They probably couldnt go much further on their best days though.


UGA doesnt even have to bring in 5 star kids, not like they have been anyway. I looked at recruiting going back to 05 and only 3 4star kids since then. Mike Mercer and Trey Thompkins being two of them and they were obviously the best players on the team when they played for UGA. I know we've harped on this but damn the Greater Atlanta area is so loaded how can Uga suck year in and year out.

But seriously, that Harrick scandal killed Georgia basketball. It doesn't help that Stagemen Coliseum is old and decrepit and it's purely a football school. There's so much damn talent in the area, from Westlake, Norcross, South Gwinett, etc. but they all go elsewhere.

Don't forget Jodie Meeks and Randolph Morris.

If Georgia could keep a fraction of that talent home, there would be no excuse for them being a cellar dwellar in the SEC. Harrick really screwed that program over.

Sorry, I forgot about Randolph because he never really lived up to his high school hype. He's kind of a joke to me.

I didn't even realize Meeks was from the area. But yeah, Harrick fucked them, Georgia Tech will always have first dibs on the local kids, with the national powers also getting who they want before Georgia.

I didn't hear anything but looking at the box score, we were DOWN 4 at the half.

1) We suck dick at shooting free throws
2) We shot 30% from the field in the first half (61% in the 2nd half)
3) I got nothing else but a win is a win lol.

We have NO inside presence so we need to hit shots from the outside. That didn't happen at all in the first half. We only made 6 jumpers in the first half lol. We doubled that in the 2nd half.

God what our team would be with our 3 leading scorers not hurt.

Whenever Larry Drew goes into the game for UNC, bad things happen.

Example: UNC cuts the Maryland lead to three, then Dexter Strickland comes out and Drew comes in. Drew proceeds to turn the ball over three times and Maryland extends their lead to 10.
