Gonzaga got off to a red hot start in Chicago against Illinois. Things settling down now. Would be a huge win.

I am extremely happy with Marquette's performance of late; two losses to top 10 teams by a combined 3 points is outstanding for a team that is basically rebuilding.

There was better ground and pound action in the first minute of that game than in some UFC fights I've seen.

Nothing like the UofL players coming out of the locker room chanting "were bad motherfuckers, were bad motherfuckers" and then getting outhustled, outmuscled, and flat out punked all game long. while the National Anthem was being played, the UL players turned their back to the ROTC, the group singing and the UK players. Then when the UL players were being announced, they all stayed huddled and no one came out of the huddle. Then, when they went out to the floor for the jump ball, Darius attempted to shake Delk's hand and Delk refused.

Edgar Sosa is the biggest crybaby in college basketball as well. He cries more to the media than any player ive ever known. He says he gets nasty messages from UK fans on his facebook and twitter pages, yeah dumbass so does every other player who is of any count from their rivals fans.

I liked Cal telling Delk that "eric's going to kick your ass after the game".

Classic. Right out of the Joe Dooley handbook.

We needed Eric to kick his ass so we can have at least one player have a run in with the law, Kentucky is trailing the Louisville Criminals in that category. Its extremely hilarious all the bumping and trash talking the Louisville players were doing and then they were whining after the game. No Kentucky players have been tased and tried to fight police officers like the Cards have.

It may be just me, but it feels like Edgar Sosa has been playing with the Cards since Pitino was hired at Louisville.

I also know I'll probably get flamed for this, but every year I hear how Pitino and Donovon are elite coaches and kings of the southeast, and in a matter of 15 games or whatever Calipari has come in and stole all their thunder completely.

I personally think the SEC is a lousy Major bball conference, but that's irrelevant to what Cal has done at Kentucky on the national scene. I wouldn't be surprised if he grabs a hold of the SEC's balls for the next 5 years much in the same fashion as Bill Self has done in the Big 12. I don't see any team in the SEC being able to compete with Kentucky from a recruiting or coaching standpoint in the foreseeable future.

You and me both brother. There are always about two really good teams, then 2 or 3 decent teams and about 7 terrible teams for big conference play. I envy the quality teams the Big East has year in and year out but then again they are the largest conference as well. I really dont think the ACC, Pac 10, Big 10, or Big 12 have been a great amount better than the SEC over the last 10 years though.


Theres been many years lately where the Big East is king shit in college basketball and everyone else is playing catch up regarding top to bottom strength. Its always nice seeing Louisville get tossed around in BE play.
