UL 53 - FIU 48

Things just go from bad to worse. I am down 47-42 and working the final drive. What happens? My QB gets a concussion and is out for the game. Because I lost my starting QB for the season last week, I have no back up QB. So I had a CB in on QB. He kept for a keeper and runs in a TD and I'm up 48-47. With no QB, the 2pt is impossible, so I'm up by 1 with 51 seconds to play. They work it down field and score a touchdown as time expires and I lose 53-48.

Medlock my QB was 28 for 54 for 534 yards, 5 td's and 3 INTs. My best WR was Coleman with 13 catches for 222yrds and 4 td's.

Other thing is, because I have no other plays but throwing, every incomplete stops the clock, so that would be a big reason why I get so many plays in.

Added custom entrance song to Kent St for their upcoming game. They are MAC Champs for 2012, 2013, and 2014. I like how the 3rd string QB is Air Boxing. It was recorded on my iPhone, so the volume isn't great but y'all get the picture. On a sidenote, if anyone knows of video capturing equipment that will work on a MAC, let me know.

Decided to play my fix-her-up dynasty with Buffalo.

I played a couple of days ago and opened the 2013 season as OC with 2 losses. 3 Point loss to Baylor (bullshit as fuck) and a 10 point loss to Fresno St.

When I started today I thought that it would be more losing, but my team is on FIRE. We rebounded by starting the season at 0-2 by upsetting number 7 Wisconsin!! Was AWESOME. Next game was against a terrible Ball St team, in which we completely blew them out. Sitting at 2-2 going into the Kent St game and it was close the whole time. Finally sealed it in the 4th 28-14.

Now for the most important game of my season, hands down, against Miami (OH) as they are easily the best team in the MAC right now and look like the favorite to rep the MAC East. Going into this game their HB was the leading candidate in the early heisman race and the team was 6-0 because of him. I got nervous just thinking about my defense going up against him. They scored 2 times in the 2nd to put them up 14-0. I scored another 2 TD's to tie it in the 3rd. In the 4th they score another 2 times. I rallied and tied it late sening us to overtime.

1st OT, both scored. 2nd OT, both scored. 3rd OT they could not convert a 3rd down and kicked a FG. With the game on the line, my RB fumbles the ball, but fucking recovers himself and runs it in for the win! CRAZY AS HELL. We are at 4-2 and looking at my schedule I am a lock to play in the MAC championship game *knocks on wood*.

- Jim Gutierrez, Wisconsin's JR HB, won the Heisman Trophy with stats of: 395 carries 2,287 yards (5.8) 21 TD; 16 receptions 169 yards (10.6) 3 TD.

- TCU beat USC 41-28 in the BCS National Championship game to cap off their perfect season and became the first Big 12 NC of this dynasty.

- 2-time defending national champ LSU ended up going 9-4 (6-3), and at one point sat at 3-4 but finished the year on a 6 game win streak. For NAHSTE, Les Miles has gone 60-19 so far.

One of the positives to the season was QB Michael Rocco. He had the 15th most passing yards across the nation. He also broke the single season and career passing records at Virginia. Steve Spurrier went back to Florida as the HC.
Mark Dantonio took the HC job at South Carolina.
Rich Rodriguez went back to WVU as the HC.
Gary Patterson, Gene Chizik, Jimbo Fisher, and Bo Pelini got fired.

I got offered a number a different of OC jobs (notably TAMU, Ole Miss, Iowa State, and Vandy), but I ended up taking the OC job at Oregon State. Ole Miss had a better roster, but I wanted to get back to the West, and also have a better chance to compete. Four starters on the OL are leaving, which is going to make it tough next year.

My team almost blew this, as my defence allowed 24pts in the 4th quarter. The game was tied 45-45 till last 4 seconds where I tossed it up for a hail mary and my guys got behind the defence (again) and brought it home for a 62 yard pass.

Actually all my TD's were long throws I believe, as Madlock had 625yrds and 7TD passes on 21/42 passes.

Landed the nation's #1 recruiting class with 16 4 stars!!

My QB situation? Both are true freshman:

- Jake Sullivan: 6'1 195; 74 ovr 67 spd 88 THP 78 THA
- Kevin Gooden: 6'4 205: 71 ovr 84 spd 87 THP 66 THA

I'm probably going to platoon them Sullivan being the starter, and Gooden as a change of pace guy, while I try and land a big fish to eventually take over.

I'm pre-season #10 right now, here's a preview of sorts:
- You know about my QB's, but they have a very experienced receiving core to throw to. Everyone returned (2 of them with multiple years of starting experience) and my Top 4 go: 88 ovr, 87 ovr, 85 ovr, and 83 ovr.

- My offensive line is pretty fantastic considering what I'm working with, but literally zero depth. Left to right: 92 ovr, 89 ovr, 81 ovr, 85 ovr, 90 ovr. The highest rated backup is 83, and next after that is down at 75 ovr.

- My defensive line looks pretty good, and I'm switching back to the 4-3. I've got a wealth of experience down in the trenches so they should be pretty good this year.

- I've got some speed in the LB core, and I return all 3 starters there.

- Corner is barren. I brought back my nickel back as my #1, and opposite him I've got a true frosh followed by 2 more true frosh.

- My outstanding P/K is back. 99 KPW and 99 KAC, a far cry from when he missed 2 GW FG's my first year.

Just bought NCAA 10 for the PS2 off Amazon, there is just too much wrong for the 360/PS3 versions for me to really get into it. I'll update you guys when I get it.
