My domination of Texas in close games continues. This time I beat them 14-13 in a game where I didn't score until just before half. Their offense lacked the explosiveness it has in years past but their defense was solid. I've actually had a running game so far this year having one guy go over 100 yards in 3 games.

So I'm in my 7th season and I was looking at what other teams had done and through 6 seasons Alabama has won the National Championship 4 times.

My 2028 season is off to a rollicking start. Through 3 games I have two 50 point wins and a 10 point road win over #16 Penn State. Georgia at home is next to start conference play.

This could very well be my most complete team. The entire offensive line is above 97, and there are two 99 OVR safeties who just devour the entire field and shit it right back out.

I won the 2012 Humanitarian Bowl against Nevada 28-23, ending my second season at Eastern Michigan with a 9-5 record.

A.Gillett set the school record in Passing TDs with 27 this season, J.Greene set the school records in; Rushing TDs (Game) with 5, Rushing TDs (Season) with 14, and Rushing Yards (Season) with 1736 and K.Kashama set the record for most Sacks in a Season with 12.0.

Talk About the Season on Offense and Defense

 

I'm happy with where the team is at right now.

My offense has put up some awesome numbers this season, the passing game was effective for the most part, the only negative being the sometimes erratic passes from Gillett leading to 21 interceptions, as well as many tipped balls and in-completions. My run game is where the offense shined, with Javonti Greene SO(RS) as the starter and rushing for a school record 1736 yards and 14 TDs, while the backup, Joe Fleming JR(RS), rushed for 651 yards and 8 TDs. Both players averaged over 5.5 yards per carry. My Receivers were decent, with four players over 500 yards and 3 TDs. Senior Kinsman Thomas had a nice season, recording 831 yards and 11 TDs, and Freshman Shane Vaughn played the slot role and ended up with almost 700 yards and 5 TDs on the season. K.Thomas and my starting TE are graduating, so I'm looking to get more production out of S.Vaughn and N.Olds, and try to recruit some WR's and TE's. My LT and C are graduating, making the strong side of my o-line now my weak side, so I'm definitely in for some challenges next year on offense.

On Defense, my SS, RE, LOLB, and both of my starting CB's are graduating, leaving a defense that was #2 in the Nation in Run D, but #95 in Pass D. The standout player on defense the whole year was Junior (RS) K.Kashama, recording 34 tackles and 12.5 sacks on the season.

Needless to say, this off-season is going to be interesting, to see what happens in recruiting and what changes I have to make, given the talent I have avaliable.

With a pair of true freshman quarterback to break in, Ohio State benefitted greatly from a weak non-conference schedule, but ran through the gauntlet in Big Ten play and somehow came out of it with an 11-2 record, and a #2 finish in the polls. For the third consecutive year, however, the Buckeyes lost to Wisconsin, and back-to-back losses to Michigan certainly didn't sit well with Coach Sportsbuck. There were several close games this year, most notably of which was an overtime special against Nebraska and a game winning field goal as time expired against Penn State. Overall a very promising season from a team that was a year away from being a national championship contender in the eyes of most.

So in my first year at Purdue I went 9-4 as you all know. I lost a lot of starting on offense and defense and was pretty skeptical about how I would fare in 2021. However behind a a JUCO QB and a SO HB as well as a surprisingly dominant defense, I took Purdue to the Rose Bowl with a 10-2 RECORD (6-2 conference).

I stomped Cal 41-10 to bring my record to 11-2.

I lost to Ohio st in the regular season 28-24. Lost to Penn St 37-34. Beat ULM 24-21. Beat Wisconsin 30-27. It was a year of extremely close games and some luck here and there.

We had a middle of the pack offense but our defense was ranked 2nd overall (15th Pass, 1st Rush).

I brought Purdue from a 105th ranked recruiting class my first year, to the 64th going inti my 3rd year. I am pleased with the direction of this team, but wont hesitate to leave if I get a good offer by end of next season.

Going into 2022 I am losing 18 seniors. 13 on Defense and 5 on offense.

Okay. So I made some changes to the conferences, and made them similar to what St. Francisco has in his West Texas Dynasty. Other than that, I didn't do anything.

Going into the season, my third and final year of my contract with Eastern Michigan, this season looks to be much more challenging than the last two. The schedule is a lot tougher, playing three Top 25 teams before getting into MAC play. Both of my coordinators, offensive and defensive, were hired by other teams as head coaches, so I have new coordinators with completely messed up schemes I don't like to run, being a Pistol offense and the 4-2-5 defense.

Looking at the team, my offense is in a lot better shape than my defense. My starting QB last year graduated, so now the torch is passed to a transfer Dusty Kiel, he'll have one year to prove what he's made of. The other transfer player I got last year, Senior RB Curtis Dukes, will share the work-load with Junior Javonti Greene, coming off a great season and will look to be a force again this season. I have a relatively young receiving core, four freshman, one sophomore and two seniors.

I'm hoping I can be a run first team again, and have Dukes and Greene run for over 1,000 yards each this season.

My defense...is a mess. Defensive line, the two best players up front are Senior DT Matt Price, and Senior LE Kalonji Kashama. I've been playing a 3-4 defense, and with the way my recruiting has gone, I don't have a choice but to play the 3-4 again. My linebacking core is decent. Two MLB's over 63 overall will help in the 3-4...in MAC play. My secondary is thin, barely enough players to run basic packages, so I'm expecting results like last year, that my offense can put up points no problem, but my defense won't be able to stop the pass and give up a lot of points.

We'll see how this season goes, I'm hoping to have the same success as last year, as frustrating as it was.

Just got through my off-season, here's the highlights:

- One member of my 1,000 yard tandem (Brad Lewis, the second best one) went pro.

- Joe Paterno is not only still coaching, but got a contract extension from Penn State (this is just eerie now).

- Landed the nation's #3 overall recruiting class, highlighted by a 5* QB (finally!!!) and a pair of 6-5, 5* WR's! Also landed a 6-8 TE with 81 speed :smug:

- I'm pre-season #3, and I play #1 Alabama at home in game #2 on the year.

- Just something funny I thought I would mention. David Shaw won the NC with Stanford in year 1, and ended up coaching there for the first 3 years of this dynasty going 35-6. For some reason he then decided to take the open OC job at Penn State and served as an assistant there for 2 years, then took the job at Kentucky and has gone 4-20 in 2 years there :lol:

Sitting at 9-0 yet I'm #6 in the nation. I've got a stronger resume then 4 of the teams in front of me. Thankfully, of the 5 in front of me, 3 play each other so hopefully things go my way. I've still got two tough games left against at home against Oklahoma and on the road in Bama. I also managed to give myself 8 road games this year too.
