Pulled off the upset! Beat them 38-35. I was up 38-21 at one point and they rallied back and the ball actually hit their guy on a last second heave but my guys broke it up. My defense forced two key turnovers in the game that led to touchdowns both times. Now at 6-2 and ranked #18.

Won two in a row with FIU. Once you get use to throwing all the time things get going easily. But I also have to keep remembering that 2 wins in the sun belt means shit nothing.

Started a CC as an offensive coordinator with Tulane, but haven't gotten to jump very far into the games or recruiting yet. Just got it set up and chose the jerb so far, but I am pretty excited to get it started. Looking forward to being frustrated by this game again. I've won like 32 straight games in my LSU dynasty so this will be a nice change up.

Fucking horrific game against our rivals Nevada. We lost 34-14, and couldn't block anyone. They ended up with 8 sacks, and one of their players had 6. Nothing went right in this game.

The AI is fucking horrible in this game. I run a WR Screen, but he is covered, so everyone just stands around. After 10 seconds, my QB decides to throw it to the WR who is completely covered. The defense picks it off, and Wyoming gets a walk off field goal to win 16-13.

I love how bumpin' this thread is... always great to come in here and not only post about my dynasties but read about yall's too.

First game as Ohio State head coach went great, won 70-0 over a very bad Central Michigan team.

My roster is actually set up for a pretty decent team this year. I've got a mobile QB with a good arm (senior though) and two good running backs, and two good senior WR's + two good TE's (one is a senior, one a junior). My defensive line is loaded (All seniors though) and my best LB, corner, and safety are all seniors as well. When this class is gone though the cupboard is pretty bare, there isn't much left behind them. Recruiting is looking pretty desolate right now as well, not much interest.

Next game is a night game in Blacksburg @ #24 Virginia Tech. Should be a nice measuring stick of how good this team can be.

I spent a lot of time on this little update and I have no idea why. Just excited for my success I suppose and trying to spread the love lol.

Well I finished my season at 8-5. Had a HELL of an end and I am actually pretty dissapointed. Fucking officiating crew :smh:.

@ Miami (OH): L in OT, 29-30

 

My Bulls scored 14 points to their 0 in the first quarter and it looked as if this would be a pretty good game. In the 2nd quarter I threw an INT which they turned into a TD. We only scored a field goal by the end of the 2nd. Up 16-7 going into half I felt pretty confident about our chances of winning this game and shooting into a prime position to contend for a chance to play in the MAC championship. Miami managed to scored 16 points in the 2nd half and we ended the 4th tied up (after I barely got a 35 yard TD pass which sent us to overtime). In OT they scored first on a 13 yard pass. I ran the ball to the 18 and threw a TD. Sweet right? Double OT right? RIGHT? FUCK NO. My fucking KICKER misses the extra point and I lost 29-30. BULLSHIT. My project CB/RB was out this game so I played my white boy. He rushed for 97 yards on 18 carries, and 1 TD. My QB threw for over 400 yards with 3 TDs and 3 INT.

@ Eastern Michigan: W, 44-35

 

I had this game in the bag from the first play. EMU is just extremely terrible and could not stop me at all. Our defense game them 21 points in the 2nd quarter, but only 7 in the second half. Once again threw for over 400 yards and 4 TD's. My running game was non existent they contained every RB I played very well.

vs Akron: W, 31-15

 

Going into this game against winless Akron seemed like it would be pretty easy. And it was. I was able to get my run game going with my WHITE BOY RB who rushed for 137 yards on 29 carries and 2 TD's. I passed only 20 times connecting on 11 of them for 187 yds and 1 TD. Rivers, starting WR, once again racked up 100 yards.

vs Bowling Green: W, 51-34

 

My defense played terrible this game and basically allowed them to score everytime I did. I finally was able to pull away a little bit in the 4th and won it handily. My project CB/HB, Lammons, FINALLY came back from his broken ribs (for the 2nd time) and went fucking OFF! 35 attempts for 238 yards and 3 TD's. He was just unstoppable.

So I finished the regular season at 8-4 and barely missed the shot at playing for the MAC title (FUCK YOU KICKER). I was invited to the Military Bowl (HA) against 6-6 Duke.

Military Bowl vs Duke: L in OT, 35-38

 

This was an extremely frustrating game through every quarter. I could not get my offense going until LATE 2nd quarter (like about to end) and finally put some points on the board before halftime. Score was 20-7 at halftime. My defense started to play lights and and shut them out in the 3rd, allowing me to get my running game going with DA BEAST, setting up a 6 yard TD run. 20-14. In the 4th DA BEAST added 2 more TD runs to take the lead. But with 50 seconds left they scored and converted on the two point conversion to send it to OT.

So here comes overtime again, and of course they score a TD first. So I am running the ball down their throats time and time again. Its 2nd and 1 and I run the ball up the middle, and what happens? FUMBLE. Only it wasn't a fumble as I CLEARLY seen his fucking knee on the ground. So as I am waiting for the challenge from the booth or at least the option for me to challenge.....game over. Final score 28-35. No review. FUCK YOU REFS.

So I finished out the season at 8-5 which is still actually really impressive for how bad this damn team is.

By years end I ended up signing 2 QB's (2 star and a 3 star), 1 HB (3 star), 1 FB (1 star), 3 WR's (3 3 stars, 2 star), 2 G's (2 star and a 1 star), 3 DE's (all 2 Star), 1 DT (1 star JUCO), 1 OLB (2 star), 2 MLB (3 and 2 star), 1 CB (2 star), 2 SS (3 and 2 star), 1 P (1 star).

I ended up with the number 87 recruiting class by end of season.

My QB, a true freshman, broke Buffalos Passing TD in a season record as well as Passing yards in a season record. Marcus Rivers, my starting WR, broke the receiving yards in a game record with 333 early in the season.

My starting MLB was named All-NCAA 1st Team All-American.
Joe Licata, my QB, was named All-NCAA Freshman All-American.

Marcus Rivers was named All-MAC 1st Team All-American.

So I beat Virgina the week after we beat V-Tech, and got moved up to #2! (Penn State at #1). Next game was at NC State, and they beat us on a field goal as time expired, causing my erection to drop dead. Duke got dropped to #13. Beat UNC for the last game of the season, got us moved up to #7. ACC Championship game was against #18 Clemson, and we won 33-13, with my defense getting 8 sacks, 5 forced fumbles(and recoveries!), and 2 int's. We'll be playing in the Orange Bowl against #6 UCLA next!


Down year in recruiting numbers wise, with only 7 commits(all are 3-star) after pulling in 16 my first year. Still have 8 guys on my board though, and they all have Duke at #1, so I'm hoping I can pull them in.

This is my last year of my 2-yea contract, and I have 100% job security after achieving all of my goals. I'm not sure if I want to come back or go elsewhere though. I'll be losing a lot of key players on my side of the ball.

Kent St. Has gotten 2 big transfers. Last year Clemsons RB DJ Howard came over and is starting this year as a Sr. This year, Iowa's RB Canzeri transferred to Kent St. I have HB overstocked but 4/6 are leaving this year.

I can honestly say that I can not remember the last time I was actually pissed off for losing a game...but I am tonight. I lost 27-21 to Oregon. It's not so much that I lost to Oregon, because I thought I might. My issue was with how I lost.

Barkley was 15-37 passing, I had no time to throw and when I did wide open players would either drop the ball OR they would simply run by the ball as it came to them and not even attempt to make a catch. Why the fuck that would happen, I have no clue, but, it honestly stressed me the fuck out. Checking the stat line, the game recorded 9 DROPS by the receivers!!!!

Fucking Oregon can go fucking fuck itself.

Against Colorado State I lost 20-19, because I wasn't paying attention to the clock. The possession before we were at the goaline, and I was trying to get a TD. I had the clock on conservative to make it go by faster. I was gonna hurry up and go for it on 4th down, but they called a TO, and the HC decided to kick a FG. They went on to score a TD with just over a minute left. I was leading a solid drive, but I didn't realize that I still had conservative on, which was killing the clock. I had to throw it deep on my own 39, and that didn't work out.

The next week we played #1 Boise State. That's all I need to say about that one.

At New Mexico was an interesting game. Both QB's were playing terrible (the backup threw a pick on his first attempt). We were down 23-7 in the 4th quarter, and I just said fuck everything. I decide to put a RB who I haven't used all season, and just run option all game. New Mexico couldn't do a thing about it. We end up scoring a TD at the end to make it 23-21 with a 2-pt conversion pending. My last 2-pt conversion attepmt I got the defense to jump. I tried the same thing, but I got a false start this time. I decide to run a double screen with my RB/QB, and the pass he threw was fucking horrible. We ended up losing 23-21.

When I said earlier I was gonna change playbooks, I did. I went to the Oklahoma State playbook. It was alright, but I wasn't too happy with it. I'm now gonna use an option playbook that I made, and use a two QB system. Gonna use that RB at QB for all the bone formations, and use Herring in every other formation. Using my third different playbook in one season. That pretty much explains why we are 1-8.

We lost OT recruit Jeremy Smith to Oregon State following our loss to Oregon. I've since added 2-star recruit, and OT, Kevin Seymour to our list. He is a JUCO player, so his 2-star ranking and skill-set are a little more advanced than a Frosh would be.

Just capped off a third straight national title. :|

It's bitter sweet because on the one hand I'm happy and I love my team but on the other hand it tells me that it's time to do the thing I hate most, which is tweaking sliders.

The final game was great though. Me (13-0) v. #2 Miami (12-1). Very similarly to this year's rl SEC CG, they opened up a 10 point lead and I couldn't get a first down through 1.5 quarters. Then I strung together a few short passes, got a little rhythm going and drove for a FG. Right before half time, I called a draw at the perfect time in the 2-minute drill and my RB sprung it up the middle for a 20 yard score to tie it at 10.

I built a 20-10 lead early in the 3rd, but on my next possession I forced a ball to my go-to WR on 3rd down and it was picked in my own territory. They quickly cut it to 20-17 and the finger nail chewing began.

After exchanging a few punts in the 4th quarter, I managed to grind some clock and add a short FG with just 1:10 remaining. 23-17, and they have no timeouts.

Brilliantly, I kick the ball out of bounds, giving them great field position. Luckily for me they throw three straight incomplete passes, and then on 4th and 10 they try an ill advised screen pass to the RB out of the backfield. I am in man so my OLB sniffs it out and jumps on the back quick, my DE peels back to help clean him up. Two kneels later and it's confetti time.

Here's senior WR Vinnie Tillman, easily the best WR I've ever had in NCAA 12.

Here is senior CB Courtney Allen, who set school records with 12 interceptions this season and 4 interceptions in a single game.

And here's a highlight of the guy I told you guys about, Jarvis Cronin ... who is a fucking load at 267 lbs. This run helped save our perfect season in what was an upset alert game v. the Aggies. They were leading 17-0 at this point; this was nearing the half, and that run converted a 3rd-and-medium and set up a TD a few plays later. I'm hoping Moss goes pro next season so next year can be the Cro Show.

TB had a pretty bad game throwing the ball (20/34, 357 Yards, 2 TD, 4 Int), but he led us on the game-winning drive and got his sole rushing touchdown of the night with just under a minute left. He finished with 22 carries for 62 yards and that touchdown.

Our defense had it's best game of the season, holding them to only 20 points despite 6 turnovers. Next week we play SMU, and I'm looking for some revenge after they fired me. Expect me to run up the score and humiliate them.

We rebounded with a victory over Arizona State 35-28. Although, it should have been a more impressive victory as we were up 35-14 at one point.

Bad offensive game again...if you can believe that. I threw 5 INTs with Barkley. It was like they were rocket-catching everything I threw. Another game where, I came away very annoyed and frustrated - even with the victory, I am not all that happy.

We've got Virginia coming to town next game and I hope the offense is much improved. I saw waaaay too many drops again...I don't know if there is a hidden fatigue factor or something, but, I have way too many mistakes happening all of a sudden.
