NEW LIVE ACTION BATMAN MOVIE IN 2015

I think people dont want the Riddler because he is so similar to what the Joker was, and the Penguin, I could see him as like a mob boss or something, but the whole mob thing has been played out imo.

I've been hearing some other interesting rumors, Robin Williams as Hugo Strange, Zsaz maybe coming back since he is out of Arkham, another rumor is the JGL might be a young Ra's al Ghul
 
Bane is a solid choice for villain, despite what the horrible Batman and Robin movie portrayed, Bane is actually a very smart criminal who happens to use venom to become super strong, he isn't some mindless ape like people think. He could be a great villain for the series. I would have liked a serial killer Riddler, but I guess they thought it would be too much like Joker, although I think they could have drawn a solid line between.
 
I thought for sure it was meant to be a franchise, I guess looking back at people asking if Nolan would return for each sequel was kind of a give away.

Yea, the original Batman created the craze, along with Superman, then it kinda went quiet till Blade and X Men came out, and restarted the craze, and movies like Spider-Man heightened it, but around the same time, it was also the decline, with like Fantastic Four, Daredevil, etc. BB tried to stir up the craze again I think, then TDK came out, and now Hollywood is relying on these movies, but again, I think it will soon be on the decline. the new x men director even said he took the gig bc he felt these movies were on the decline, honestly, i'm a big comic book guy, and maybe its just bc i never read them, but i dont really buy these Avenger movies, like Cap, Thor, etc, they seem like cash ins really, even Iron Man 3, from what i've read, the movie is really just another movie for heroes like Cap and Thor to appear after the Avenger movie, which is why i'm glad Jon F left, knowing this

i'm gonna stop my ramble about the movies now, lol

yea, i laugh at the box office results of the 2, BB was like 1/3 if that of TDK in gross

also, Jon Nolan had nothing to do with BB, he only started working on Batman with TDK and TDKR, which some people suspect is why TDK's story was better, which I kind of agree with, I loved Memento, and The Prestige, but didnt care for that Terminator movie he went uncredited on
 
great, they wanna film something great when I just left, also, they got hit bad with snow, when I was there, there was like 6-7 inches in just a night or something, that was a bad snowstorm

so why are they filming in NY, new Gotham? Also, almost every superhero has used NY, Spider-Man, FF, X-Men, Superman, Daredevil, etc. Chicago is Gotham, next up for Batman, defeating the Transformers.

Each movie has had essentially 3 villains so far anyhow - BB had Falcone, Scarecrow and Ra's, TDK had Joker, Two-Face & Maroni (and the rest of the gangs). Now, if this rumor is true, it'd be Bane, Catwoman and new Falcone.

The problem with SM3 was that Raimi had little control, the studio was all over him. They essentially forced him to put Venom in the movie. With Nolan, the studio trusts him 100%, as do I. He hasn't even come close to disappointing with any project he's been involved in. Superman is much more likely to disappoint compared to this :thumbsup:

and I love how some people wont even say Nolan isnt even in the top 5, or 10 best directors right now, its like, what more does he have to do for you? :facepalm: I know he have alot of movies to his name, but still

The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that Cotillard is in talks to join the cast, but it's not official yet. Also reveals some new shooting locations:
A rep for the actress in Paris said that her involvement in the film is currently "in discussions, but nothing has been confirmed yet." WB France has yet to comment. The actress, who is pregnant and due in the spring, is discussing scheduling issues. The plan is for Cotillard to start shooting mid-June in London, film all summer in L.A. and Pittsburgh and wrap mid-November in New York.

Nolan had been focusing on finding the romantic lead for Christian Bale in recent weeks, reading and meeting with several actresses, including Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, according to insiders.

That sounds awsome, I wish they would have left out Bane and Catwoman and just gone with other two. They could have brought in Raz too.

My guess is Nolan threw the studios a bone and included Bane and Catwoman
