I just like the way the team is built. A lot of the praise stems from admiration (with a dash of jealousy) because it appears that they made a great hire with Thomas Dimitroff...while the Chiefs made a disastrous choice with Scott Pioli.

The whole not capitalizing off turnovers thing...it's one game. If it becomes a pattern, then it's a concern. The Falcons did an excellent job in Week 1 taking advantage of the momentum caused by a missed FG by KC. The Chiefs had an opportunity to tie the game 20-20 in the 3rd quarter, doinked a FG off the upright, and Atlanta ran them off the field for the rest of the game with an unanswered 20 points. So, I think that killer instinct is there.

Agreed on Ryan needing to have playoff success.

3. Just watch. Soon, there's going to be a major brawl during an NFL game and these replacement refs are not going to be able to stop it.

Not all Cowboys fans think the hit was illegal. I belong to a Cowboys forum that is similar to this one, and the members spend 24 pages debating this point.

BTW, according to ESPN Dallas, Golden Tate has been fined $21,000 by the NFL. $1,000 for the hit on Lee, and $20,000 for impersonating a badass. LOL!!!!

Well, you're mostly right. But like I said before, the thing that has me salty more than anything is Tate's reaction afterward (also the lack of retaliation on Dallas' part. We have too many "nice guys").

The Texans lead the league last year in swatted passes and had 3 or 4 week 1. When asked how he was going to adjust and avoid them, Blaine Gabbert said "I'm not even worried about that".
