i thought Tates shot was cheap and should be fined. If the defense can be penalized and fined for hitting a defenseless WR, the the offense should be held to the same standard.

regarding the refs, D Qwell Jackson was called for a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. The announcers said they were looking at the replays to find it and they couldnt. Jackson said today that he hit and knocked Jeremy Gresham down on a chuck off the LOS...well within the rules. He went on to say that the team is having a hard time figuring out how to play under these refs rules.

Well, that's understandable seeing as how the scab refs themselves don't seem to know them.

These refs have been awful. Some of you may think that they are just as good as the professional referees that have been officiating this level for years but you are flat out wrong. These guys are BAD.

It's not just about the terrible calls they make, it's also about the calls they flat out miss and the time being spent on replay.

I will admit that they are under a microscope but that they should be and held to the same standard that the regular officials would. Whether you think they are doing just as good as the real refs is irrelevant at this point because they are doing a horrible job and that's all that matters.

These officials have become a joke. It's clear the players/coaches have NO respect for them and thus the refs have little control over the game. It's very clear on fumble scrums as these refs can't get the players off each other what so ever.

As a sidenote, I don't blame the replacement officials. The real officials are just as bad. The replacements have been fine, all things considered. They are under a microscope and people are looking hard for reasons to complain.

Yeah I have changed my opinion. I want the regular officials back.

Moreno fumbled the ball and there was a dog pile. In the chaos, players and coaches off the sidelines, yelling at officials, physically touching them (one Bronco pulled a ref from the pile). Only 1 player was penalized after the scuffle. It wasn't even clear whether the refs got the call right as to who recovered it.

A couple other times, refs seemed like they let the crowd/coaches dictate whether flags were thrown and enforced or picked up (without an explanation).

A defensive holding call resulted in a random 11-yard difference in the spot.

The first quarter itself lasted for over an hour with all the indecision from the refs.

Yeah the refs made the game drag on too much.

They also spotted the ball at the 32 at one point instead of the 38 because they mixed up college and NFL rules. (I think this is the 11 yard difference empire referred too.)

They definitely have poor judgment when it comes to PI too. When receivers get raped they don't call it. When a corner brushes ever so lightly against a receiver they throw the flag.

please. regular refs fucked up plenty too. some of the shit that happened on MNF was a bit much but the outcome was in no way influenced by the refs so its all good in the NFL's eyes. better start calling these "replacement refs" regular refs cause they arent going anywhere for a while. like warner said these refs have a microscope over them (times a million on MNF) so every tiny little thing is being critiqued. all of a sudden OMG THIS REFFING THIS TERRIBLE THE REPLACEMENTS SUCK! when people have been bitching about reffing every single week for years.

Shitty way to lose but Im confident we can compete with any team in the league the way we took it on the road against the defending SB champs. That said fucking refs have got to go. Vincent Jackson gets hit with a H2H hit, Doug Martin gets facemasked, punter gets roughed (ran into at the very least) and there isnt a call on any of these plays. Not to mention that bullshit incompletion call at the end of the game. Refereeing has been terrible league wide, not just our game. Greedy ass NFL need to pay the fucking refs and stop this shit.

That giant scuffle was ridiculous. I had the game on mute. I thought they tossed at least 2 people. The fact that they didn't is a complete joke. Tony Carter was called for PI and he barely looked at Roddy White. There were three PI calls this weekend that I saw that were literally nothing. The first was the Jets-Steelers game, the second was the Lions-Niners...........yes, Niners guy did NOT interfere and was called, and the last was that Denver Tony Carter call.

These refs are terrible. I also hate that they've increased the need for Mike Pereira to be consulted cause that guy is annoying as shit.
