Obviously I know that, but when people say the Cowboys won the Superbowl in 96, people assume it was the 96 season when, in fact, it was the 95 season. I guess I pointed out mostly because the Packers won it in the 96 season.

Couple things..

-Someone mentioned how Romo had shitty pass blocking, acting as if Rodgers hasn't been in the same situation. The fact that Rodgers put up those kind of stats last year while getting sacked 50 times behind a weak o-line is incredible.

-Someone also mentioned mobility in an argument complimenting Romo. Name the quarterback who ran for the most yards in the NFC last season.

Rodgers was amazing last night. I usually talk about how he has a better defense and how his receivers are better, but those WRs did nothing to help him out last night.

His throws were for the most part, money. An inch to the left or right, and they're picked off.

That being said, I still stand by my guy who spent the last four seasons playing under one of the worst coaches in football, with an underacheiving defense and receiving corps and the constant distractions that come with playing for his team.

It's funny how it's always a "team effort" unless Tony Romo is involved.

But Rodgers proved me wrong, he's to be congratulated and he deserves the accolades he's getting right now. He showed why he should be considered in the upper echelon.
