If you had told me before the game that Pullen was going to have 4 points, K-State was going to have 20+ turnovers, go 3-17 from deep and 11-23 from the line, I would have thought the margin for Duke would have been much larger than 14 points.

Duke is an outstanding team, but we played like dog shit.

We'll be a much better team in March.

That was a great game though. I DVR'ed washington vs uk and just listened to cds all night on the way home to make sure i didnt ruin the score.


Im looking forward to UConn vs Uk tomorrow, but Kemba Walker might score 40.

Kemba is cold-blooded. He will hit a 3 with a hand in his face to tie the game from 4 feet behind the line. He will dribble into the lane, spin, and then float it over two bigs. He will hit clutch free throws down the stretch to ice the game. Best player in the country? He is certainly making a case.

Not like I thought we had a chance or anything, but we kept it within single-digits for most of the game without Karon Abraham. I'll take it.

Kemba and company just completely dominated Kentucky. Oriaki is finally a force down low and I LOVE the play of Giffey, absolutely love it.

Kentucky is going to be good though, but only if Jones can stay out of foul trouble. He was the only one who even kept them within 20 points tonight.

you guys really didnt deserve those many free throws neither...there was no time i felt afraid of duke losing that game...bad matchup for k-state...they are a good team though...pullen is a terrible defender too.

He's recruited much better than i thought he could up there. Royce White not working out up there hurt, but he still has a good group of kids. I could see them being middle of the pack in the big 10 throughout the season but making a sweet 16 run if he gets them rolling in the Spring. They have the obligatory white lefty 3 pt chucker as well.

Really? Duke always gets more free throws than their opponents. We led the country in free throw attempts last year and we'll probably be up there again this year. That's how K-State plays.

Pullen is actually a great defender. He was on the Big 12's all-defensive team. He dominated everybody's golden boy Jimmer Fredette last year in the tournament. He just had a bad game and Irving is a special player.

We always try to pressure the ball so sometimes we are susceptible to dribble drives by more athletic players and we get beat back door a lot too.

RMU star guard Karon Abraham is suspended three more games for getting hit with an underage. It was a four game suspension originally, as the Pitt game was the first game he wasn't eligible to play.

Another tough loss for the Abraham-less Colonials, but it was against an 8-0 Cleveland State team. Their guard, Cole, is a NBA prospect and put up 29 points. They held a 22 point lead at one point, but we only lost by five, so I guess I can take some moral victory out of this game.

UNC/Illinois tomorrow. Ugh..
