I'm not sure what I think of Phillip, I mean he's a great athlete and all, but I just don't know if I'd want him on Detroit. Then again, we need all the help we can get at DB, but I'm still pulling for Chris Carr. And there's news out that Ravens CB Samari Rolle asked to be released, if he does, I know he's an older guy, but I wouldn't mind him in a Lions jersey.

Lions close to signing DT Grady Jackson, who would be another great pick-up for us.

EDIT: Check that, he did sign. I like the "anchor" signing for our new run defense.

Thought I'd bump this back up with the recent trade.

I still want us going Curry, but I could see us picking Stafford now and taking Lauranitis later in the draft. Either way, it's a breath of fresh air to see us being active in the off-season and making some good moves.

P.S. - What ever happened to Brian Calhoun? I still think he has potential...

Calhoun sucks. End of story. I still think we trade for Cutler.

I also think we make a draft day trade for Cutler, and yeah Calhoun was given many chances to prove himself, and every time he got hurt.

I hope we solidify our O-Line somehow, either by picks or later FA signings, and our run game will improve, which will lighten the load of whoever's at QB.

The thing with Cutler, hes not that slow, he can move around in the pocket, which actually can help an o-line by moving around and avoiding some guys that our QBs now cant do.

That's a rumored Lions jersey + logo, i doubt it is the new stuff, but that's been out there for a day or so, and there's been sites that say it will be the new jersey / logo, and other say it's fake.

I really don't care, but i wish the logo would stay the same.


Umm, of course teams talking about what they're going to do in the draft is probably just to throw everyone else off, but i've heard that the Lions are really going to push to draft OT at #1, rather than Stafford or Curry.

I've also read and wrote on here, sorry to sound repetative, but the Lions are trying to talk to the Broncos about Cutler, if they talk they'll try to trade obviously..

Yeah, there's no way either of those are accurate. If they were going to make new jerseys, they wouldn't "photoshop" a picture of Calvin Johnson and put the jersey on him. If you look at Buzzman's avatar, it's the exact same picture of CJ with different colors. You'd think they'd put a little more time into it if that was their serious design.. lol.

But I do like the jerseys. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that as the real thing, even though I love our jerseys now.
