If you want the bang for your imaginary buck Infamous and LBP are the best choices if you havent played them. They were both $60 releases at one point. Those others are PSN >$15 games at their peak.

I looked up Stardust. Kinda reminded me of Geometry Wars from XBL. Which means, I won't even touch it. WipEout HD reminds me of FZero from the SNES days. So I have no interest in that either. Looks like LBP or Dead Nation will be the second choice.

You won't be disappointed in DN especially if you are a fan of twin stick shooters or zombies...or both.

Like Misogi said, it beats Undertow...the worst free game experience since Aegis Wing.

If you don't have Wipeout, get it. It's a great racing game...and it retails for $40.

It doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that no matter what the ps3 game, it sucks to you. Unfortunately you are in the minority with most of your opinions.

As far as the compensation, I think it suckz because I have all the games. But for anyone else those games are a great offer. Just check the metacritic on all of them. They are top notch. You are just delusional. What games do you actually like?

AndI know this situation is not the same as the 360 one a few years ago, but yet thy offered Undertow. A fucking terrible game. No choices and a $10 crap game. Sony is offering top quality games and actually giving users CHOICES. Crazy, huh?

Yeah, but there's a big difference in the PS3 outage compared to the 360 outage. The 360 went down in the first week or so of 2008, because of the increased server load in new accounts following Christmas where both Halo 3 and Modern Warfare were released. One week of sporadic connectivity due to upgrading systems to handle the increased load is much different than being down for three weeks for everything, and having a huge security risk for people.

Sony has to give out $80 worth of product, and I would argue they should probably give more due to what happened. Microsoft's outage is not in the same ballpark.
