god dam. the ps3 fanboys make up every excuse in the world for why their favorite system has failed in this gen.

maybe the reason why the ps3 has failed so miserably isnt because it launched a year later. maybe it was the horrible online setup....or the fail at launching its dashboard....or the lack of quality games....or maybe it was the ridiculously high price or the fact that non gamers arent spending 500 bucks on a blu ray player

its a long list of fail since the launch of this system that caused it to lose so much money and be 3rd in the next gen war.

the wii, which also launched a year later then the 360 has destroyed both systems.....so now i get to read someone post that its cause the wii is not the same as the 360 or ps3.

you ps3 fanboys need to accept the fact that your system of choice is inferior to the 360 and that you spent 500-600 bucks for something that has lost the battle. Its not my system of choice, but i also lost 500 bucks on this machine.....what a waste of money

they said the PS3 has a 10 year life cycle.......therefore we won't have a clear Succeed/Fail verdict until 2016. I guess the first 3 years are not in the + side but i think they know that.

I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thing I've read all day. All anyone said was that this is pointless because it's not like games aren't going to just up and stop on the system. You make this asinine statement about a system "losing" some sort of proverbial "battle" as if that means anything to anyone. If they keep making good games for my PS3, I'm going to keep playing it. Whether or not it beats the 360 in sales means NOTHING to me unless I work at MS or Sony. What the fuck are you talking about? This isn't the fucking Dreamcast where it's just going to die on us and those that invested in it are only stuck with old games.

I'm sorry that YOU consider it a waste of money, but that's just your preference. The almighty battle of the system profitability is pointless and moot to us as game players.

Second, I'm not angry. That was just a dumb post. This one is worse. I have all 3 systems. I play my 360 the most and it's my favorite of this generation, particularly as I haven't really made the jump to Blu-Ray. My Wii collects dust. But I still really enjoy my PS3 and am quite glad that I have it. It has a lot of great games that I've enjoyed, and it's nice to not have to pay for online.

Third, see above. I clearly have the foundation for that opinion as well. So please, just stop. You sound as stupid as you do bitchy. At the end of your whole little rant there, you basically just said "I have all 3 systems and don't like my PS3". Great, that's fine. Guess what, though? That's just your personal preference (can't believe I have to repeat that point). I was talking moreso exclusives. I'm not going to live in denial and say that all PS3 fans keep to themselves and withhold from bashing the 360. It just seems, to me (and yes, I am biased, but I wouldn't call myself a fanboy), that more 360 guys stomp into PS3 threads and rain on their parade.

true.....i looked back and page 1 was pretty casual with no fanboy crap. Then page 2 started with jhen comment. i dont think of him as a fanboy at all, but his post is something the mm fanboys would say all the time. Then you have twiggs comments which everyone knows how he feels about things. and PP chimed in with his usual fanboy comments.

im not at all saying everyone is a fanboy, but the fact is that people get offended when their item of choice is being attacked. In this case it was factual info being posted about losses so it wasnt a specific person bashing the console. Sure chod posted it, but it doesnt change the info he posted.
