I really don't get the "everyone that they're punishing had nothing to do with it" argument. So, should the NCAA use that rational and move along as if nothing happened? I don't get that line of thinking. I don't agree with killing an entire season and I doubt that will happen. I see some bowl bans, some lose of schollies, etc. The community of PSU will have to deal with it, but football will still be played, tickets can still be sold and businesses can still profit off of fans going to the games. If businesses suffer than fans obviously weren't as loyal as they thought.
It is unfortunate the actions of a few can influence the lives of many, but as is life and life goes on.
It might be worse than that. I think Penn State is getting hit with everything except, one year of football. With the penalties coming down. I feel like I'll be wishing for the death penalty.
