I really hope for J. Cole's album that he does his own rendition of A Star is Born from Jay-Z. Yeah, he killed the guest spot on The Blueprint 3, but when performing it at the BET awards, he added another verse to the original one.

Anyway, it just occurred to me that Mel Brooks was insanely accurate with his painting of standup comedians as standup philosophers.

Parents try to peddle their kids off to Sesame Street to be taught, but that's the wrong source of knowledge.

All you need is standup. Anything that can't be learned from HBO, Comedy Central, or - to a much lesser extent - Showtime, isn't worth learning.

Well, it won't be me. The only thing I like by him is basically No Ceilings. I've never been impressed on the level others have...

I think Lupe's the best rapper alive.

I liked No Ceilings, but if you want his best stuff, listen to Da Drought 3 or Dedication 2. I can't stand his new stuff, but I'll listen to his older tracks every once in a while.

And I'm not a Lupe fan at all. Can't deny his talent, but I just don't have the motivation to listen to him.

Have you checked out Teflon Don? I like ross, nice flow, beats are bangin. Expect blowing money fast, and the song before that. That beats are identical. Overall, great album
