The Triple H-Orton feud would've had a lot more legs if Orton had won at WM, clean or not. Now the feud just feels... meaningless. Even if Trips jobs to Orton clean somewhere down the road and drops the belt, he still won on the biggest stage.

It was interesting being at WM live for that match... The crowd just stopped caring. They didn't really turn on it and hate on the match, but you could tell most people didn't give a damn. I mean, big portions of the crowd were doing the wave instead of paying attention.

We are forgetting that Edge fights Cena at Backlash, so nothing is saying Edge can't win there. But it wouldn't surprise me to see CM cash it in on Cena.

A storyline I think they should look at is taking the Orton/HHH 6man tag match at Backlash, have Orton's team win it, and then have Punk come out, and HHH, Batista, Shane help him (or not, can go anyway) win the title. It pushes that little CM vs Orton fued, and then back to one champion on RAW.

Shad Gaspard is now on Smackdown, so no more Cryme Time.
Primo Colon is now on RAW, so the Tag champions have split up. Kind of dumb, since this is the best work Carlito has got in a long time.
Ezekiel Jackson is now on ECW, so Brian is on his own.

The major two is Shad and Primo. Why does WWE always like to break up tag teams. They have just killed the entire tag divsion, because now the Colon's are no more, Cryme Time is no more, and Miz/Morrison is no more. The three major teams are done.

I watched RAW for the first time in like 3-4 months and was pleasently suprised that it was the draft. Miz and Morrison were always my favorites, and it sucked to see them broken apart. I always watched for the tag team division, and it seems that they're breaking that apart. Sucks really. At least Carlito and Primo are both on RAW, since thats the only one i watch and maybe i'll be able to see some tag team matches.

Thats is what i think aswell, it was better when there where no brands as rivalries could be built up better and the quailty off the WWE was much better, i would prefer 1 roster off the entire WWE of about 50 guys than heaps of crap people that cant wrestle and have no charisma

Well, the WWE has never really lacked in guys who couldn't wrestle and/or lacked charisma. Names like Marc Mero, Ahmed Johnson, and The Godwins. As for lack of actual ability to wrestle, Kevin Nash and The Honky Tonk Man both had epically-long title reigns. And then there's the Ultimate Warrior...

What has really changed is that the WWE used to help out guys who lacked charisma and couldn't cut promos with managers or valets. They don't really use those anymore. And in terms of actual wrestling ability, that's an entire arguement unto itself. I'm of the opinion that the ability of WWE wrestlers to actually wrestle has dropped somewhat from the past, but not as much as people think. Its made to seem worse by the fact that the WWE is so limiting in what guys can do in the ring. The WWE has always been more about entertainment than actual traditional wrestling, but at least they used to allow guys to go in there and do some stuff. Now, it seems to be very very restrictive. You look at a worker like CM Punk and compare what he did in ROH to what he's able to do in the WWE and its barely like the same worker.

What are you talking about, Biss? There is no way that Batista is on anything! No way! That physique is all natural...

Seriously, I'm not fan of Batista. He's never been a great worker and he doesn't cut great promos. He's indifferent too often, and has to be carried to good matches by better workers. He's one of those guys I don't hate, but I sure wouldn't miss if he disappeared again. I've always wondered why he's popular, beyond having a "look". But I was at the Raw in Houston when he returned a couple weeks back and the pop he got was immense. Like him or not, the fans love him. Its not a conflicted love, like with Cena.

Agreed. I've heard that Vinnie Mac refuses to put much focus on the tag team division as he feels that tag teams don't get over with the fans. I'm sure there are some classic teams that would disagree with that... But obviously the tag division as a whole isn't going to mean much to the fans if you don't put any focus on it. Over the past year, they have shown time and again that the tag team division doesn't matter to them. So why would fans take to it? When there is a team that fans get into - such as Miz and Morrison - they do what they can to end it. Wouldn't be surprised to see both of those guys go on to be singles stars, but its not going to happen immediately. I don't see how they are better off solo right now that as a team.

As for Kennedy, think he was on Raw before. Heard recently that his shoulder injury could become permanent and he may never return as a full-time wrestler. Think he would do well as a commentator or manager, though.

I'm really just waiting for WWE to bring down in standards of what a champion has to look like. We got HHH, Cena, Batista type guys, who are all huge and jacked up (juice or no juice, they are huge) Then you got a bunch of smaller guys who could put on good matches, tell good stories and entertain, but will never be given a shot. I look at what smackdown does with champions and it was nice to see Edge and Jeff Hardy get pushes because they were not your huge guys. Once the WWE lowers it's weight for world champion from 275+ to 220-275, a lot of guys will get a better chance.

Jeff Hardy is 225lbs
Jericho is 22lbs
Matt Hardy is 236lbs
MVP is 249lbs
John Morrison is 219lbs

A lot of very good talent is in the range, yet they are never given a fair chance (besides Edge). Not only does this pool of talent have probably the best ability to wrestle great matches, but also they are some of the most over and entertaining people in the WWE right now.

Once we see the big guys start to retire, hopefully they are replaced with the small ones.

atleast with Cena and his forearms of doom you can say maybe hes a bodybuilder that focusses on his arms but good Dave is not even trying to hide it.

sidenote: vince came back from being punted in the head in 3 weeks and was wrestling in 5 and hes what 60. but it took bautista 4 months? just saying

also the smaller guys being more talented and not getting the would title is fine if you make the IC and US belts worth fighting for.

I wouldn't count on it. The WWE has loved the bigger guys since the 1980s. Longer, really. Guys like Shawn Michaels have long been the exception rather than the rule. There some young guys the WWE seems high on - Swagger, Kozlov (not that young), DH Smith - that have the size that's more prototypical. While I would like to see a day where the WWE doesn't look at a 220 guy and say "too small to main event", I'm not really expecting a that to happen. I still think guys under the 240 line are going to struggle. A few of them will make it regardless of their size, but some of them are still going to be held back by it.

You know, I honestly don't blame Batista. If he is even moderately self-aware, he has to realize his look is his greatest asset. He isn't a great worker, can't work the mic very well, and is starting to seem pretty injury-prone. Maintaining that "look" has to be key for him. He also has to realize that for all the pressure that the WWE has been under to get its roster clean after the Benoit tragedy, its also not a time were Vince is going to want to suspend a major star over a Wellness violation. The economy is a mess, the ratings aren't great, the PPV buys are down... The E isn't excactly in trouble, but its not the best of times for them either.

TNA is such a fucking joke. The ending was absolutely horrible. Having Samoa Joe come out and go down to the ring, right before the show goes off the show, is just bush league. Seriously, wasting an appearance of one of your biggest stars is pathetic.

They've completely ruined bringing back Christopher Daniels. I'm ok with the decision being reversed, as at least this way it's much less predictable. Going to commercial right after Jim Cornette comes out, and when they come back all of Main Event Mafia is in the ring. AJ, Chris are in the ring and then double J comes out an reverses the decision. All of this happening with like 1, maybe, 2 minutes left in the show. Then they have Samoa Joe come out all pissed off, but don't even show him doing anything in the ring.

Really TNA? This is the type of shit you want to do with your stars? Grow the fuck up and learn how to properly use your fucking stars.

I only watched part of Impact, as its tough to sit there and watch through and entire show. Overly log segments, many of which are horribly written... Not nearly enough wrestling... I can't help but watch the current incarnation of TNA and think of WCW in 2000. Especially since you still have guys like Jarrett, Nash, Steiner, and Sting who were in WCW at that point. You think those guys would have learned a few things... Apparently you'd think wrong...
