Some notes on Aloisia, the woman WWE hired last week to attempt to be the freak attraction that will build ratings for NXT, and there are people talking about her and curious about her. Her real name is Lindsay Hayward from Walnut Creek, CA. She claims to be 6-9 1/4. She may be the tallest woman alive in the world right now. The belief is there are 17 women in the world, five confirmed in the U.S., who are a legit 6-9, but none who are 6-10. Her mother is 6-1 and her father is 6-7. She was 6-7 when she was 13, but clearly not athletic at that age as even with that size, she was cut from her eighth grade school basketball team. She is 23 years old and did develop enough athletic ability to be a starting center at Rocklin High School in Northern California, where she was an honorable mention high school All-American in the 2004 and 2005 seasons, and averaged 10 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots per game. She was recruited by the University of Virginia and would have been the tallest Division I player in the country. But never played her freshman year and left the school after that, deemed a failed “project.” She weighs between 240 and 245 pounds. She started pro wrestling in 2007 on the indie level so the idea she’s gotten little attention after three years isn’t a good sign. As noted, the first I’d heard of her, as Isis the Amazon, was several months back seeing some youtube matches where she was pretty much at the beginner level but didn’t exude any charisma. TNA was aware of her and watched tapes and showed no interest. Since that point, she’s gotten enormous implants. Some giants have done very well in this business and others have not. There’s really no precedent when it comes to a female giant. Rhaka Khan, who was a far better athlete, playing Division I basketball and volleyball, was a complete flop in TNA, but a lot of that had to do with attitude, but nobody cared about her size. Linda Miles (Shaniqua), who was a college basketball star at Rutgers and good enough to get a WNBA tryout, didn’t make it, and nobody cared about her size. Obviously she’s far taller so it’s a different category. Awesome Kong, who is a good worker and was a proven ratings draw in TNA, hasn’t even gotten a WWE offer, although perhaps they’re worried about her mental stability given what happened at the end in TNA and the story of her attempted suicide. For every Andre the Giant in this business, there were plenty of Silo Sam’s, Giant Silva’s and Giant Gonzalez’s. I’m just waiting for them to script a romance with Hornswoggle.

Blame the Phantom General Manager for making the decision because now we all are going to miss the "Best at What He Does" because of this travesty.

However, "The Monday Night Delight" got a bump in Champ standings so this isn't a total loss.

So I tried to watch the new TNA PPV, but I fell asleep during the stretch of really bad matches involving the ladies and EV2.0. Generation Me vs Motor City Machine Guns and Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy were the best matches of the event.

Tazz is REALLY bad about spoiling surprises and swerves.

On RAW, Barrett is going on and on about how he pinned the WWE Champion, Sheamus. Great. Makes sense, since he's in a title match at the PPV. Solid stuff.

Then Gabriel gets the mic, and says, "Wade, I did something even better. I delivered my finishing move to both The Undertaker and John Cena on the same night!"

Huh? And they wonder why the same 6 guys are the only ones over, and why titles dont mean anything.

From the little I saw of NXT it was absolutely hideous. Even the ring announcer didnt know what the fuck was going on. And lol @ using the chick ring announcer as one of the wrestlers now. I dont even think WWE knows WTF theyre doing with this one. They just wanted to do anything else before bringing some new male talent up.

They only have a month left on the SciFi contract, so they are just doing a quickie season with the ho's. They are hoping another network will pick up NXT because they like the concept. I think it's the most interesting show they produce...aside from this trainwreck they are doing with the broads. Unwatchable.
