The murder was believed to have taken place Sunday night, inside a Honda CRV where Jiminez and Adela Luna, a female companion, 45, were both found dead. Both were shot twice in the neck and head from close range.

Honestly, its perhaps the most successful gimmick the WWE uses, save perhaps being Royal Rumble winner.

Unlike 99% of what the WWE does, it reinforces consequence, makes matches meaningful, and is one of the few unpredictable things the WWE does. I believe every Money in the Bank winner has gone on to win the championship... but you never know when or where it'll be cashed in. It's been cashed in on network television and on PPVs.

I heard someone bitching not too long ago that they did all that building up of Nexus and Wade Barrett only to give The Miz the title and that made no sense. I think it made perfect sense precisely because of Wade Barrett and Nexus. I never saw it coming, and thus it gave me a sense that there were things going on other than Nexus. WCW and TNA have both failed to keep a living, breathing world alive outside of NWO/Immortal. The WWE has effectively made Nexus a part of WWE rather than being the WWE at the moment with this one move... plus putting the big strap on The Miz puts over who could go on to be the one true money draw of the next ten years of professional wrestling (being that as far as I'm concerned, he's the only guy left who's in business for himself and not just reading off the cue card).

(plus I think they're going to use Nexus to turn Miz 'face)

Money in the Bank is a microcosm of everything professional wrestling needs to get back in order to be successful again.

Agreed with pretty much everything you said outside of turning Miz face. Perhaps years down the line, but hes way too good as a heel right now to make that move.

Want to be real confused?

El Hijo Del Cien Caras is not realted to the famous Caras family, which includes Cien Caras, Cien Caras Jr., Mil Mascaras, Dos Caras, and Alberto Del Rio, who is actually Dos Caras Jr. I suspect El Hijo Del Cien Caras paid the family to use the gimmick, but he is actually the brother of LA Park, who is the original La Parka, but is not related in any way to the current La Parka. He is, however, the nephew of Super Parka who used to be Volador until he lost his mask, and the cousin of Volador Jr. None of these men are related to Mini Park.

I only tune in to WWE every once in a blue moon to see what's going on, but I believe tonight's RAW is in Philly? And what do I hear when I turn on? Miz vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler for the belt.....really?
 
Lawler is gonna pull down the strap, win the belt, and take the WWE Title to the Mid South Colisseum for title defenses against Bill Dundee & Austin Idol.

Fucking GREAT promo.. shame they had to have King interrupt and do the same act they've always done a million times having him get squashed by the guy he interrupts for disrespecting legends. So lame. Should've let that promo play the fuck out.

CM Punk has been great in the little of watched tonite tho.
 
Now it will be interesting to see what they do with the announcing situation since it's almost impossible they can continue with Lawler and Cole working together.
