These ROH guys might have the right idea. 4-6 ROH shows per month, and they let you pretty much do whatever you want on your free dates.
ACH is on every fucking indie show on earth these days. If he were in TNA, there's a chance he'd be on Impact twice per month, and held hostage the rest of the time. It's a real risk.
I've often wondered why guys stick with TNA once they made this their policy. As you mentioned unless you're used on every show does that downside guarantee really outweigh what you'd get on indie dates? Is it just guys trying to get a little more stability in their life and not do the weekend warrior thing. I don't know. I'd love to ask someone who has worked for TNA, doesn't want to go back and won't have any qualms about giving numbers and actual facts about it.
