Guys gotta get off Machida. He won. You can't blame the guy for being happy. Regardless of how it happened, it's the first successful title defence in quite in the LHW division.

Shogun landed 82-42 overall strikes. Machida landed 24 bodykicks to Shogun's 16. For those saying Machida's were doing more damage, I think the respective stance's of each fighter tells the story. Machida was visibly hurting. Switching stances, no spring, etc. Shogun looked as fresh as I have ever seen him, which is fantastic.
EDIT - As an aside, and we have had this discussion before, I wish judges would learn to use the 10-10. I thought rounds 1/3 were quite close, and to give a winner was very harsh to the other fighter. Make it a 10-10 and make the guys earn the win, instead of just tossing a coin
