Trent Dilfers dumbass made a good point about a hit on matt Ryan that was missed during last weeks game. Vick is going to get hit more as he can keep plays alive for a lot longer and he has a shitty OL.

They went back and looked at all the hits the giants put on vick yesterday. There was one where Vick maybe got hit late but they said they wouldn't call the late hit either on that play.

Everyone wanted Vick to become this pocket passer...that's fine and dandy but he's playing possibly behind the worst OLine the league aside from the Bears right now. He's IMO really doing himself a disservice trying to transform himself...just know when to tuck and run and know when your shitty OLine is collapsing to get the hell out of there.

Also some of Morninweg/Reid's offense requires some deep drops by Vick to allow the routes of the WR's to develop...Vick needs to get Celek more touches...could save his damn year from being a total wash because he's on the sidelines.

And last of it is he doesn't slide...and the defense knows this...they want to destroy Vick, especially when he makes the defense look silly...so they will get their shots anyway they can.

Well if you gonna make comparisons between what Cutler says to the media and what Vick says......last week Cutler pretty much expresses zero confidence in his pass protection when asked if he could survive the season......I don't think I have ever seen a guy so perplexed and speechless.

Vick said he's not getting the calls. Between the first 2 games, he had a valid point, but during the Giants game he actually did hold the ball longer than he needed to because I honestly think he was still suffering concussion symptoms after getting hit a couple times and just couldn't see well enough downfield.

Also the fact that we probably have the worst o-line in the league doesn't help.

One thing I've noticed with Brady and Manning though is that they have no problem getting in the officials ear after a missed call or suspect play...........I've seen Brady go off on an official about it, so maybe Vick should do the same. He needs to work the officials like basketball players do and he'll eventually get some of the calls.

As with Big Ben I think Vick is just falling victim to his own style of play and the style of offense. Its not that the officials don't see the penalties, but Big Ben and Vick routinely take big shots while still making plays. Both of these guys have to hold on to the ball to allow the play to develop, side step, run around and extend the play, so they're going to take some shots.

While I'll agree that Vick doesn't help things by holding on to the ball too long, the offensive line IS part of the problem.

You are the first person I've ever heard classify Todd Heremans as a pro bowl caliber player. He's been solid at LG the last two years, but he was moved to LT and is having problems adjusting. Just look at all the false start penalties he had last week. And no, he's never made a pro bowl.

Jamal Jackson has never been to a pro bowl. However, it would be irrevelant because he's not even playing. Jason Kelce, a rookie 6th round draft pick is starting. And he's still learning to make line calls 3 games into this season.

Evan Mathis is the starting left guard. He was a back-up with the Bengals last year who hasn't has an NFL start since 2009. He's on his 4th team in 7 years.

Kyle DeVan was a Indy castoff we picked up the last week of preseason, who hasn't had an NFL start since 2009 (I think he missed last year with an injury?).

Which brings us to our lone pro bowl player, Jason Peters. Yes, he made the pro bowl last year, althought they must of done that on a small sampling of his work. He was hobbled for much of the year in 2010 and missed 3 games.

Vick was hit 13 times on Sunday, and there were two questionable no-calls. So does he have a case?

Not really. Refs miss calls all the time. In Week 2, Jason Babin had a pretty blatant late hit on Matt Ryan, but there was no flag. Just yesterday, Babin grabbed Manning's facemask as he sacked him, but there was no penalty.

I don't think refs are targeting Vick. The truth is, he's probably just a difficult player to officiate, just like he's a difficult player to block for and a difficult player to defend. Vick does things no other player in the league is capable of, which might be part of the reason he thinks he's being targeted.

ESPN's NFL Live looked it up, and only six teams in the NFL have benefited from more roughing the passer penalties than the Eagles since the start of the 2010 season. The Eagles have had more of those calls (5) than any other team in the NFC East.

Vick was frustrated Sunday, and understandably so. But the proof from the game shows he was probably off-base in thinking the refs purposely treat him differently.

So, just being a bitch after a loss is their conclusion.
