That was a helluva fight. Right decision, but I would definitely watch #3 before those two.

Top to bottom, that was probably the best MMA show of the year so far.

awesome fights, faber is an animal, showed massive amounts of heart and is in great shape, brown just is relentless

no need for faber/brown 3, brown is 2-0 against faber, faber needs to beat some other guys or drop to 135

a 3rd match needs to be a year or 2 down the line, brown has done it quick and over 5 rounds, no need for another

and Faber of course
maybe a couple other Japanese fighters, but noone of real note.

Every other name: Hermes, Lauzon, Sudo, and Imanari, hes lost to.

I just dont get how you guys are discrediting guys like GSP and Silva for dudes they've beaten/loss to but think this guy deserves p4p consideration?

3 out of 4 of Browns losses are at 155, just like how BJ is a top p4p talk because all his losses except 1 are above 155

also, he is a champ of a very deep division, Faber X 2, Garcia, Curran, Hominick, Edwards is very good

Machida beat BJ, that win doesnt mean that much and it went to a decision, BJ has shown skills at 170, but fighting over a 200 Machida isnt much

Franklin was at 205+, Rich is a 185 fighter and thats where all his success was at

Tito hasnt done much lately, Thiago has zero good wins

Best win is Rashad

Faber X 2 is as good as or better than Rashad and Tito

Vernon (lol), Bonnar, Soko are on the same level as Yves, Garcia, Hominick, Currran, actually Yves is better and had more success than any of those guys

Besides been undefeated, Machida resumes is not that great, sorry, Machida has the same thing going for him that Brown has, champ of a very deep division

I have never been all over Machidas nuts so there is my consistency you ask for, not really sure what you are getting at?

By consistency I mean you credit fighters for nothing and discredit them for other things.

How is owning one fighter better than beating a number of fighters? That makes no sense. We've never seen Brown against stiffer competition than Yves Edwards. Leonard Garcia is not stiff competition. He, much like Brown, losses to most decent fighters he fights (Huerta, Cole Miller), his only noteable win is against Jens Pulver, who is pretty overrated at this point of his career anyways. Same goes for Curran. Brown obviously owns Faber, hes bigger in stature and is a nasty fighter. But come on.. of all fighters in the world this guy is in the top 10 p4p? Really? And you're discrediting Machida and giving this guy credit just cause he can beat Faber?
