Weird calls/challenges of Week 7

I think nearly everything Pereira says is retarded, regardless of him being on Goodell's payroll. The guy has no concept of reality...he's like a college business professor who has never worked a day in the real world.

The league has officially changed the scoring on the final throw of the game and awarded James Harrison an INT. More-so than the whole fumble issue, the fact Harrison caught the ball after it CLEARLY bounced off the ground is now even more laughable. Must be they are trying to make Harrison feel better after the whole helmet hit/fine thing. this is fucking awful, simply horrendous, that the league can make this bad of a call during THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK when they have all day to sit and look at the replay!!!! Completely embarrassing.

Does it matter? No. But it does effect Henne's stats and it lends more evidence to how fucking terrible the league's officiating office is.

About the whole helmet thing, I noticed someone ripped their helmet off and threw it to the ground and the refs threw a flag. Then I flipped over to the Patriots game and watched Tom Brady take his helmet off on the field a bunch of times between plays to fix his hair, no flags thrown.

Maybe it's in the nature that you take your helmet off?

Ive seen guys flagged for taking it off a few feet from the sidelines on the way to bench.

Its all at the refs discretion. Which usually means painfully irregular and unpredictable. Just what every sport needs in a rule.

It was a couple of plays after the face mask penalty. I'm not sure that he could make that argument since he had two opportunities to go to the sideline and get the equipment manager to give him another helmet. Regardless of whether or not he could see, the rule clearly states that you are not to take off your helmet outside of time out while on the field.

So, you're saying that, because a penalty wasn't called on that particular play, nobody (Loadholt) could have grabbed his helmet.

So Minny's RT only messed with CM3's helmet on that one play when the penalty was called.
