So this is the idea. We have all been pissed off by the Shut Down of PSN in some form or fashion. Some of us might've lost credit card info, while others witnessed the events while finishing up a puzzle in Portal 2. In some cases we have no direct connection to the tragedy whatsoever, but we still share a Gamer kinship that keeps our gears grinding.

I was playing Portal 2 when I noticed that I wasn't connecting to Steam. Then, I checked my friends list and saw that everyone went offline at about the same time, and I thought that was too much to be a coincidence.
 
Came home from class on 4/20 and wanted to hop online. Now it's been a week. If this takes another 2 weeks im trading in my ps3.

Ive considered getting an XBox but I cant use that shitty controller so I have no choice but to wait it out. I would have had an Xbox long ago if it wasnt for that shit.
 
Exactly what time did it go down? I think I was working. When I got home at around 6:30am I took a nap for a few hours. When I woke up around 10am I kept trying to sign in and kept getting an error message. For about the week prior I was getting an error message every time my ps3 tried to auto-sign in so I figured it was just that bullshit. It was later that day I found out the whole network was down.
 
Trying to start up fucking MLB.tv app.....fuckin hackers..no let me rephrase that...robbers. I don't give two shits about the gaming community's loss, but all I have been wanting to do is watch MLB.tv in smooth streaming and fuckin Netflix. Instead I had to hook up a PC past its prime to my LCD and watch glitchy ass MLB and Netflix.
 
i tried to log on in the evening.....would log on so i jumped on the net. and whammo.......whole house is down.

The timing is a little co-incidental with everything that is going off regarding Sony's PSN, but there are reports coming in from around the web that xbox 360 consoles that were previously banned from live are able to re-join live by manually updating to the latest xbox dashboard software.

Was it a mistake on Microsoft's part, or are they trying to capitalise on Sony's downtime and encourage as many people to make the jump ship to xbox as possible? The only way we'll know for sure is if these unbanned consoles stay unbanned (provided their users are playing by the rules this time!).

Watching this when I got a call from one of my homies "yo nigga the psn is down for me is it down for you nigga" I automaticly hopped on ready to brag and tell him his internet was fucking up but then I couldn't sign in. I hopped on the computer only to find out we were under attack.
