I honestly have no idea what game Kle was watching.

The us was running all over the place and the canadians for the most part had control of the whole game. If Brodeur is playing like a goalie and not a baseball player we'd be having a different conversation.

OK...if a US player falls to the ground and smothers a Canadian shot, does that count as a shot on goal? I didn't think it did, and the Canadians still managed to get 45 shots on goal despite the "smothering" defense of the US.

Now your telling me a system that worked for two straight years and even is still working this year with a team full of callups is the reason why Canada failed against the US...

really? i don't think many in this town would agree with you at all even in spite of all the injuries. His handling of the goaltender situation has been abysmal the only thing keeping the heat off him is howard has played well. how the Leino debacle lasted 42 games after last years playoffs the minors had to have someone better.

someone might WIN this tournament, but these are the two best hockey teams in the world, without a doubt. so much talent, every shift should be epic. nothing short of an all star game expected IMO.

This crowd is bonkers, and Team Canada is feeding off it. A goal for the Russians early would have sapped the crowd and really put the pressure on, hopefully we can keep this up for another 54 minutes
