You're goddamned right.
I rented MindJack last night, not really expecting all that much. The idea of being able to leave your body and hack into other people and machines is pretty good, as well as the "Demon's Souls" idea of "hacking" into other people's games and trying to kill them.

Well, even though I wasn't expecting much, I was horribly fucking disappointed. This game is TERRIBLE.

Controls suck? Check
Camera sucks? Check
Story sucks? Check...wait, there's a story?
Promises unfulfilled? Check

Just terrible. You can't hit anything you aim at. The "futuristic" handgun is like shooting a musket. The spread on machine guns is ridiculous. You can only hack into people cowering on the floor, not enemies. The story is simply nonexistent...it drops you in the middle of an airport with no background, no reason why you can hack people's minds, nothing.

Terrible.

So, that got me thinking, what was the worst game you've ever played?

When I see a bad game I typically don't play them.

I could list every game I've played in past couple years (at least what I recall) and I'm quite certain Madden would top...err...bottom out the list.
 
Clive Barker's Jericho perhaps, although I'm sure there's others that I played for such short a time I can't remember them.
 
madden would not be my worst ever. it would be on my biggest disappointment ever

i dont buy games unless i know they are great and i dont rent games unless i have a good idea that others thought it was a good game.

But the one that comes to mind for me is MLB2K8. I bought it day 1 because 2K7 was so fuckng good and 2k8 would have only gotten better....wrong. 2k8 was terrible and forced me to buy a PS3 with MLB the show
 
Worst game I have bought was a blind buy for FEAR 1 on PS3 or harry potter 6 on the 360. People laugh and say why the hell would you even play a Harry Potter game, but they are the closest things to open world RPGs set in the Potter world and were fun to play. 6 however was complete shit with no side quests and then they turned 7 into a 3rd person shooter. A RPG game set in Harry Potter world would be jizzworthy.
 
For me, X-Men on NES simply because you couldn't beat the game without entering a code hidden in the fine print on the cartridge (part of the code isn't even printed anyway). Who the fuck programs a game like that? Fucking LJN.
 
I had the Three Stooges for NES. My buddy and I used to play the hell out of it, but thinking back, it was pretty bad.
