Yes because 200 yards proves something. Those 4 more TD's Fitz had could have been 3-5 yards long, where the offense could have easily ran the ball in without him(like today's game). I'd rather a WR who can get 300 yards with no TD's than one who can get 3 TD's with only 20 yards.

I dont know if you've been playing madden a little too much but in the NFL you want your wr to score not to just get yards thats what the other RB, TE, and other 1-3 wr are out there for. When a WR scores he is doing his job and btw the catches Fitz got in the eagles game did you just want him to fall down at the 1 so he would let the RB try to get the TD LMAO

see if you see the 1on1 where some people have said johnson always gets double teamed however when a person says that they must not know it is the WR job and the coaches job to get him off double and into man something that the Cardinals O cordinator has done this season

Are you fucking serious? Are you basically trying to say that Fitzgerald does well because of Anquan Boldin and boldin because of fitz? That isnt true at all. Fitz does good because simply put fitz is good. Boldin does good because boldin is good. Coverage wise they may aid one another, but more so fitz as he demands a safety overtop and boldin demands bracket coverage since he runs short and intermiedate routes. The past two seasons boldin has missed a few games and despite his absence fitz still gets the job done. And boldin has been wrecking havoc since he came in the league so he doesnt have success simply because of fitz. The only one who may receiver "help" would be breaston and he is capable of doing well when boldin isnt in the lineup as well. Hes quite good in his own right is what I am trying to say.

This year when boldin wasnt in the lineup breastons numbers are as follows....
21 catches 281 yards 2 tds.
those were his numbers as a starter when boldin missed 4 games. week 5, 6, 16, 17

Fitz when boldin wasnt in the lineup this season.
20 catches 362 yards and 5 tds

last season when boldin missed 4 games those games being week 4, 5, 6 and 14 fitz compiled the following stats:
31 catches 422 yards and 2 tds.

And about fitz working with moss and chris carter...some of what you said I never heard. what are your sources? I've heard that fitz was the ball boy and worked with chris carter on his hands and that is all. Dont know about route running and playing the jump ball etc. seems as if you exaggerated things based on the skillset fitz shows week in and week out that is similar to moss and carter.

oh and for the record..lol at 2-3 guys on boldin. theres only one wideout that demands triple coverage and that was the randy moss of years ago. randy moss isnt the same so that triple coverage isnt needed as it once was.

Fitz was killing in college "Boldin wasnt there." I said that's part of Fitz success. Why becuz of coverage reasons, that's Why Dallas brought Roy Williams in, TJ & Chad does the same thing in Cincy. Either of them can be a #1 guy on any team and becuz they're both on the same team it makes them more dangerous. I think you prolly thought I was saying Fitz would be weak if Boldin wasnt there. Naw that wasnt it, my point was they feed off of each other. But they didnt need each other

A side example: Welker is a very good WR but do you he'd have that much success if Moss wasnt on the field? (not talking Fitz & Boldin)

(Blue Bolded Part) Chris Carter was talking about this on ESPN when Fitz was being Drafted. Carter works alot with the Draftees before they get drafted and Carter was like when he met up wit Fitz it was like a reunion. Also I think I remember NFL Network people talking about this. And Mr. Fitz himself mentioned this. Fitz said Carter showed him some "sweet spots" on the ball and as far as jumping and route running it was all about timing.

I used to never watch college but from the Point when Fitz was drafted I've been following him ever since, I knew he'd be on top of the younger WR's coming in...

(Red Bolded Part) Sometimes you'll see 2-3 guys on Boldin especially in the Red Zone area and sometimes you'll see 2-3 guys on Fitz... It may not look like it but one you see replays and highlights you'll be like dame where'd all them damn DB's come from. I get ehat you saying about triple coverage, but teams could afford to put 2-3 guys on them becuz Ari didnt have a run game, so you'll have more coverage guys.

To be honest, fitz and moss are 1 and 1a to me right now. royal and marhsall make the top of the second tier for me as well, welker is just a possession guy in my mind and while he would be top 15, not top ten in my list.
