Quote Of The Game:
"With all the excitement surrounding the team right now with us clinching and Danny's 71, it seems like we came into this game too hyped up. We blew a lot of defensive and offensive positions and they jumped way out in front early on. We managed to settle in by the time the 2nd quarter came around and we chipped away at it but just couldn't bring the game back into striking distance." - Andre Miller

Granger's 71 Amongst The Top 10 Highest Scoring Games
Danny Granger joined some pretty elite company after dropping 71 points at the Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night. Let's take a look at where his mesmerizing performance stands on the all-time list. I think it's safe to say his record-setting 71 at the MSG is safe for a while. Coincidence that 4 of the top 10 highest scoring games by a single player were against New York?

I like how 4 out of the top 10 were against the Knicks. It just shows how bad they are at defense.
1984 Record: 44-38 (9th in west)
1985 Record: 42-40 (7th in west; 1st round exit)
1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)
The Grizzlies theme this season should be : "This Season, We're Doing It For The Lulz"Comment
