Damario Belcher Legally Changes First Name to Damarlo

Bloomington, IN - After looking at Indiana's updated 2010-2011 roster, I noticed that Damario Belcher was listed as Damarlo Belcher. I called the Hoosiers front office, asking if it was a mistake. It's not. He's changed his name.

Damarlo Belcher, Indiana's best returning receiver, told me yesterday that he didn't like the name Damario. "People always called me Mario. Ya know, from the video games? It got on my nerves, so I changed my name to Damarlo. They can't call me Marlo now, can they?" Said Ben Chappell, the man listed as Indiana's starting quarterback, "I'm still gonna call him Mario. Changing his name doesn't mean that his nickname is gone."

Damarlo is one of the most popular players around the team. "He makes everyone laugh," said Mitch Ewald. "He's one of the funniest guys I've ever met. Even better then the users on VSN."

probably not. maybe 2nd or 3rd this year, then the conference championship. this is kind of a rebuilding year for me. i didn't a bad job recruiting, so a lot of bad freshman are starting for me.

Just caught up with this. Great job turning Indiana around. Tough to do in a state where football is just a way to pass the time till basketball season comes back around. I lived in Bloomington for a couple years when I was a kid, so nice to see this. Again, great work.
