according to Andre Brown - " "It's not that bad of a break. Just like a little tiny crack in it. We've still got to do some more tests on it. Last time when I broke it we knew immediately what the problem was. They’d let me know if it was serious, but it’s not. So definitely spirits are high, positive, and I’m looking forward to coming back this season. No (surgery). Definitely not. We've got to go do some more tests, but it’s not as serious as it was last year."

ugh. that was a tough one to watch. despite the 6 overall turnovers and general awful play they were still somehow in it at the end, which makes a loss like this most frustrating. some bad things and good things from last nights game
- David Wilson...Games dont get much worse than that. Fumble inside the opponent's 10 yard line and another fumble that was recovered for a TD. Even when he did end up hanging onto the ball there was nothing happening. I still think Wilson can be a great player but he really needs to go the Tiki Barber school of holding onto the ball, and needs to sure up his pass blocking. There was a critical missed block by him down on the goal line. Huge play ability doesn't mean anything when you can't hold onto the ball.
- Defensive Line...Take away the 2 sacks (which yes did come at a very opportune time) Romo had all the time in the world back there for the majority of the game. Defense is all about creating pressure on the QB and there was barely any in the game last night. Give any QB time in the pocket and they will pick you apart.
- Boneheaded Eli plays...No better way to set the tone of the game than an awful INT on the first play of the game on a screen that was sniffed out from the start. You could place the blame of the last INT that basically ended the game on Da'Rel Scott for not turning around in time or Eli throwing it too quickly. Either way, poor decision with the game on the line. And of course lets not forget Eli's patented left-handed underhand shovel pass while being dragged to the ground that made an appearance last night. Somehow it wasnt picked off like it usually is.
- LB's...Terrible in coverage as usual. Dan Connor seems like an upgrade but weren't able to see much of him after leaving with an injury.
+ Eli...already discussed his usual bonehead plays but on the flip side Eli looked very sharp and picked apart the defense with ease at times last night. When everything is clicking Eli looks like one of the best QB's in the league.
+ Secondary...the stats say they gave up a lot of yards through the air but most of that was due to a lack of pass rush that let the WR's run around forever and get open. Strong showings from Terrell Thomas coming off back to back knee surgeries, Ryan Mundy with a huge INT, and even Aaron Ross after being pushed into a starting roll after Amukamara went down
+ Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz...best one two WR combo in the league? Certainly in the discussion.
+ Offensive line...with the run basically being abandoned all game they held up fairly well pass blocking all game. Justin Pugh looked great in his first NFL game.
+ At least David Wilson didnt cry on national TV last night
