I'm not saying he shouldn't talk about his beliefs, but if he's up there saying he's using this platform to do this or that then I think it's only right and fair that questions be asked about what he actually believes, what he is spreading, and why he aligns himself with certain groups that are pretty damn intolerant.

I watched a lot of his pressers. One time he was talking about going to talk to a sick little girl and how he was thankful that god had given him the platform to make a difference to people like that.

Another time he used the word platform he thanked god for giving him the platform to play in front of such great fans, and such a great city.

I have never heard him say, that he was using his status in the NFL to push his religion on anybody.

I'm an atheist that thinks religion holds us back as a species, and life would be better without it... and even I think you guys are reaching with this.

I plan on being a parent in the not so distant future, it's something I think about. I wouldn't want my kid idolizing a bigot, especially one driven by fake zombies in the sky.

If your kid is retarded, that's on you at the end of the day. It's your job to get through to your kids, and for your kids to understand shit.

I'm not sure how experienced you are with the Christian message, but a part of it is being a living example (Christ-like). Tebow using the platform is going to be indirect. You won't see him preaching the message of Christ or trying to convert people. A major part of the Tebow story is his religion, which is why almost every time people make reference to him there is also Christian slant or discussion.

Given his stature and platform he doesn't have to go out and preach the message of Christ, as how he carries himself will do more towards the Christian message than anything he could say. I guarantee he would take great joy in hearing about how people have bettered themselves based on how he handles in tough situations, because how he handles himself came from Christian teaching.
