Torry Holt/Marc Bulger benefited from the offensive scheme of the mad genius. Unfortunately for the mad man, only one guy was capable of running it to the extent it was supposed to be run, and that was Kurt Warner.

It didn't take long before Bulger was exposed... and Holt was sent packing.

Are you trying to sound like a complete moron? Did you read any of the post? None of these players need Kurt Warner to be successful players. Marc Bulger isnt carried by Kurt Warner, because Marc Bulger is not a receiver, hes a quarter back. Quarter backs dont carry other quarter backs. And Marc Bulger also has little to do with any of the 4 receivers I mentioned, other then that Tory Holt has his best statistical year under Marc Bulger. Solid facts are undeniable. Isaac Bruce with Mark Rypien and Chris Miller. Who the fuck is Chris Miller? Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt cant go for 1600+ yards without Kurt Warner? OOPS both did that. Anquan Boldin cant go for 1300+ yards without Kurt Warner? OOOOPS did that with fucking Jeff Blake throwing the ball.

Larry Fitzgerald is still overrated as hell, and not only is he not the best WR in football, but Fitzgerald/Boldin aren't even the best combo in football.. NE signed them. It is what it is.
 
I think Turner is gone for sure this year which may or may not be a bad thing because like I said, I fully expect Lovie to be gone after next year as well.

So then we have a lame duck offensive coordinator for 1 year then the new coach brings his guy in? Is that really ideal?
 
I would prefer Gruden or Shanahan in Chicago.

I'm not sold on Gruden as a Head Coach, and Shanahan had a hard time fielding a defense. Don't see either going over very well in Chicago.

I would hate to see Cowher in Chicago. Just seems like a very good fit there.
 
Trent Dilfer has a 5-1 post season record, so he's better than Peyton Manning.
By the way, what have the Ravens done since Trent. He made that team what it was.

Look dude, I know you're just trying to make a point, but, Dilfer was on a defensive, run first team, not a pass happy team. Warner, now with two different teams, has been asked to CARRY the offensive load and he has been very successful. If you're going to make a comparison like this, choose a different QB. One that is also on a pass happy team. A QB that is being asked to help carry the offensive load.

Please, for the love of god, don't use Dilfer and think you are making some kind of valid point.

I took a look at Warner's career in one of Nukes threads a bout a year ago and posted Warners stats on why I didn't think Warner was a sure HOF, but more of a bubble guy to me. I got a +rep from him.

So I don't ignore the things that are uncomplimentary to Warner. But he was, to me, a bubble HOF guy and the longer he has success in the league, the close I have him to HOF.
