You seem to be blaming the defense and taking all responsibility from the QB. All shag and I are saying is that a 4th QTR int and only 14-17 points from you offense does affect the GOAT legacy of the QB. Making it to the SB is quite an accomplishment, so it's not like NE hasn't done anything since the SB wins, but there playoff losses have an affect on a teams and players legacy. Especially when the offense doesn't score much in this offense happy/score fest league of today.

A 4th QTR int puts a lot of pressure on your defense. And when you only score 14-17 points for the entire game, it's even more added pressure on the defense. Has a lot to do with "anything".

This is my issue. I can understand if Brady played a horrible game, but he didn't. In the two SB loses he is 56/89, 542 YDS, 3 TD 1int....those aren't the stats of a guy who has struggled. How does going to 2 SBs negatively affect a player's legacy? Maybe he would have been better to of not gone to the SBs at all, because then most of you wouldn't be overrating his loss as much.

This is my issue with most of you. Take even Kurt Warner. If Dyson scores that TD (stopped at the 1-yard line) Warner is 0-3 in SB's..if Holmes doesn't get his toes down he's 2-1....instead he's 1-2, but if everything worked in his favor he's 3-0. Does his legacy change, yes, because many of you would be claiming he's so "clutch" and a "big game winner" when his performance never even changes.

Kurt Warner is/was the best playoff QB this generation.

And the 2007 Patriots were the highest scoring offense off all time. So yes them scoring 14 in the SB is a failure.

If Brady doesn't throw the 4th QTR int this year, the NE defense might not have been in the position to lose the game.

All we are saying is, the 4th QTR int, in the SB, has an affect on a QB's "GOAT" legacy. Scoring 14-17 points in SB loses, does have an affect on the QB's "GOAT" legacy. If the QB has outstanding performances in the games and loses, his legacy isn't affected or it's enhanced. But 14-17 points? Int in the 4th QTR? That does.

I've already stated that QB's will have a harder time moving the ball in the playoffs, but in the 2 super bowl games he was not playing a defense the caliber of the 02 Bucs or 01 Ravens.
