All my breakdown? LOL. I didn't go into some huge analysis, just mentioned 2 key things.

Didn't see the national or Packer media. Did they key on Rodgers? or did they key on the fumbles and dropped passes?

Throwing Favre under the bus? LOL. Objective analysis is throwing under the bus? Brett was not a great playoff QB. That's just fact. Brett's the one that threw the playoff ints. No bus about it.

It was poor for Rodger's standards. It was about average for an average NFL QB. It wasn't the major reason for the loss. The loss was on the dropped passes, fumbles, defense, and Giants playing well. You're very transparent.

I am a Packers Fan ,yes. ..and a Rams fan.

Packers= my dads family is from Wisconsin
Rams= I was born in So. Cal.

but I am a sports fan in general and a realist. but I also understand sports is entertainment. Not something like needing to be a charter member of some gang of particular colors LOL. Favre,Rodgers and Starr are all great QBs,enough said. just because the Pack lost doesnt mean I cant enjoy more football. and The Pats need to be pounded into the ground if they get there. the Giants are the best option to do that.

Poor QB play was T.J. Yates. I'm still not sure which throws you're referring to. The only two that stand out from the others was the one to Greg on 3rd down, after he broke the safety/corner covering him on his Post-Corner route. Rodgers threw that ball before Jennings turned his head in, instead of out. It was that close, Greg thought he had found space in the middle, Rodgers thought and threw the ball to the outside. And the other was a pass to Jermichael, that looked like it was on him, but Aikman insisted that Rodgers threw it too hard. It was because of Aikman talking about it a lot, that made me remember it, honestly.

Rodgers made some great plays on his feet, and some throws that were on the money(remember that throw to Driver in between like 4 G-Men?), and just flat dropped by Packers receievers/backs. Picking the missed throws out is just as bad as me singling out a single drop. It was a combination of everything that contributed to the loss.

The game was lost by the Packers. It's a little disheartening to see you incessantly try and make us(mostly Bucky, but I've read along) realize that Rodgers had a "poor" game. I want the Packers to be a great Playoff team. Not just our QB.

Pretty comparable numbers here, but have to give Rodgers an edge based on how Favre literally threw the game away in OT.

Now another playoff performance that loomed large in my mind, the first playoff loss in Lambeau history, the 2004 divisional game against the Falcons.

Favre: 20/42 247 Yds passing, -1 yds rushing, 1 TD/2 INT

Pretty lousy game from Favre in the playoffs. But wait, there's more. How about the 2005 wild card game against the Vikings when Randy Moss "mooned" the fans after the final TD?

Favre: 22/33 216 Yds passing, 7 yds rushing, 1 TD/4 INT

your stat lines miss the generality of what I am saying in the first. Sure Favre may have had bad stat line games. But I doubt he looked just plain bad as Rodgers did Sunday and thats all i'm saying. A little late in the convo, but I agree with everything Bucky said....Rodgers did not play a bad game at all, in fact I thought he played well considering his teammates did not....Rodgers missed two throws all game, overthrowing a wide open Jennings in the first quarter and missing Jermichael....and on the throw to Jermichael it was debatable if he even ran his route properly....other than that he was solid....his receivers were the ones who played terrible, Jennings dropped a sure TD pass that was right on the money with pretty good coverage.....and there were drops all over the field and fumbles, one that the refs fucked up on and overturned

But Rodgers is a bad, bad man....you Packer fans are extremely lucky to be able to go from a QB like Favre to one like Rodgers who I think is even better....not many teams get that fortunate
